Passport Seva Kendra Jadavpur (Regent Park)

I visited POPSK (Post Office Passport Seva Kendra), Jadavpur, which is located inside Regent Park Post Office, for my mother's passport renewal appointment. Her appointment was scheduled at 9:15 AM. After reaching the location, we found that there is a dedicated seating area, which was helpful, especially for senior citizens. We were informed that the confirmed list of applicants arrives from Delhi at 10:00 AM, after which the verification process starts batch-wise. Exactly at 10:00 AM, the representative began calling applicants sequentially, which showed good coordination and discipline. My mother could not complete the process on that day because she had not carried one or two important documents. However, the staff member was extremely polite, patient, and helpful. She clearly explained what documents were required and guided us properly on how to schedule another appointment without any confusion. Please note that only the applicant is allowed inside the verification room; accompanying persons are not permitted. Overall, the staff was professional and supportive. I would strongly suggest applicants carry all original documents along with photocopies to avoid any inconvenience. Updatei: I later rescheduled the appointment and visited the same POPSK again for verification. This time, the process was successful as I had all the required documents. The RPO representative was very helpful, and once again the staff was polite, cooperative, and efficient. Based on my experience, I feel that applicants should not be influenced or biased by negative reviews. I can personally vouch for the good work and professionalism of the staff here.

Extremely disappointing experience. The customer service here is very poor and the staff show little interest in helping applicants. I waited in line, brought all required documents, and instead of guiding me properly, the officer simply put the application on hold and asked me to reschedule. The communication was rude and robotic with no empathy for the applicant's situation. The system may be efficient on paper, but the behavior of the staff makes the experience very frustrating. I hope the authorities improve the training and attitude of the staff.

This PO PSK is situated on 1st floor of Regant Park Sub Post Office. Enter from left side way stairs. Very humble, polite and professional staff. The waiting room is very small. Please carry e-sign validated copy of Aadhaar card.

Pathetic experience. The RPO representative (mentioned in the picture) was extremely rude and inefficient, no appointment timing is being maintained. Refused to receive application, tried his best to convert us to apply through other RPO since he was unable to manage the queue.

This unfortunate reality can lead to wasted time and additional stress, especially for individuals with pressing travel plans. Choosing a PSK can significantly enhance your chances of a quicker turnaround, ensuring that you can obtain your passport in a timely manner. Prioritizing efficient processing by selecting the right location is crucial for anyone eager to avoid the pitfalls of conventional routes.

The service is genuinely hassle free. Entire procedure takes 15 mins. The main agenda of processing is handled by middle-aged gentlelady. Only drawback is the approach to the office which is located at 1st Floor of the post office.

The behaviour of the passport office personals are extremely rude and under the remark. The work is very very slow. Must learn manners before speaking. If you want your passport related work done, prefer other post offices.

Very smooth process, without any unnecessary document demands. The entire process was handled by a lady officer, who is one of the rare government employees I've met--passionate about her job, knowledgeable, and truly willing to help people. When I went there, there was a technical error, which caused everyone to wait. However, unlike other government offices where people are simply turned away, here the officer personally asked everyone to remain calm and assured us.
