Passport Seva Kendra Entrance

Office front gate is not used, all visitors allowed entry/exit from rear entry. Parking of two wheeler is 30/- whereas for 4 wheeler is 40/- by private agents. The process is very smooth and systematic except a bit of clumsy approach at the first counter to take token, where copies of original and x copy of required documents are checked. But the platform is not suitable for keeping your documents for handing over to personnel and people keep dropping their valuable documents. Rest of the process is digital but I failed to understand why x copy of documents are asked when sign is also requested through digital mode. Scan copies of original documents should be promoted/adopted to save paper wastage as the application alongwith the enclosure are returned in physical after scanning. Appointment and rest process is very much systematic with minimal waiting period. Facilities are also at par with standards. I reached 30 min before my appointment time, was allowed entry and was able to complete 2 minutes after my scheduled appointment timing, I am very happy.

Well structured,stuffs are very good & well trained.Time schedules are maintained properly. Good Location.Just 2min walking distance from Ruby hospital. Local food stalls are available.

Entrance is in the back gate of the building for general public. Almost 500 walking distance from from gate because you have to walk behind Ruby hospital. Street is not good. If you are in cab try to use this drop location that will help. And staff maintain hour schedule. So please don't think that you will come exactly schedule time and get entry directly. You have to wait depending upon line leanth. If you able to convince security guard in front gate then you will get entry otherwise you have to use this gate

Ridiculous and inhumane.. We have stand outside the passport Sewa Kendra, Kolkata in a roads for hours to get inside - no shade or sitting arrangement in sun or rain. Imagine the condition of senior citizens waiting there. No one raises voice against it as everyone knows that once in a decade he/she would have to come once in a decade to get passport renewed . Hated the
