Overall good experience but they try to insist for their vip service which is just useless. Easily they can open some more counter for faster processing. Visa fee can be paid only in cash, visa center for a country like china accepts only cash is really surprising. They insist for exact amount which is very difficult for customers. Waiting area is okay. Overall good.

It's maintained by a professional 3rd party, very good in service, if you pay a bit more you may get a VIP service including bottle of water, tea, coffee, those guys are doing well

It's a well managed place with very helpful staff and professional service. I was just there 1 minute to close at 12pm but they let me in. Very nicely helped me with the visa process. Only drawback is that they don't accept upi, card or any digital payment. Rest all is good. It's the 1st visa office in my life that offers you tea and cookies.

Reach before 12 noon if you want to get your application processed in normal counter. In case you're late then they have VIP counter at backside of normal area, they will accept your application till 3pm, submitting at this counter is fast and they charge premium for it. It's completely your choice to choose your counter to process the application. Staff is good, communicative & supportive.

I have visited China VISA application service centre at Kolkata for my VISA appointment. I really appreciate their positive behaviour and customer service. There is an issue found with invitation letter from China during the document verification. Instead of straight away declining the application, the officer asked me if I can arrange the corrected invitation letter. When I assured him that I can arrange the new invitation letter, he has processed my VISA application and asked me to send the invitation letter by mail as soon as it is made to the his office email Id. I have arranged the invitation letter as promised and thanked them for such kind of cooperation and service. Otherwise I would have wasted my time to visit once again with new appointment. I once again thank both the officers who have shown true customer service which is very rare to find in any consulate.

The office ambience is excellent. The work culture is quite professional. The people are handling the complicated aspects most skillfully. I was slightly frightened when I visited there but the friendly behaviour of the office staff and their efficiency makes me confident and easy to get services.

The overall experience was decent and the interviewer was polite, explaining everything clearly -- but the real scam started at the payment counter. First, they insisted on cash only, which is shady enough. Then they refused to give me change. My bill was 10,448and I gave 10,500 -- instead of returning 50, they had the audacity to demand exact change down to 450. Only after I raised my voice did they finally hand over the 50. Absolutely pathetic and unprofessional behavior.
