VFS Global- Visa Application Centre in Hyderabad

I visited VFS Global yesterday with my uncle for his visa appointment. He arrived by metro and I parked in the next galleria, taking the lift to the 2nd floor - there were clear signboards showing directions. A small bridge connects the shopping mall and VFS office, which is really helpful for applicants to reach on time. The waiting area is decent, and there are copier shops, emergency ticket booking counters, and exchange counters available. Compared to the old Banjara Hills location, this one's a big improvement - proper seating, parking, and no crazy roadside crowds. I visited the VFS Global Panjagutta centre on Saturday for my UK visa certificate verification. The overall experience was very confusing and felt unnecessarily expensive. First, the office was supposed to open at 9 AM, but it actually opened at 10 AM. All the boards outside mentioned that Saturdays are closed, so every student waiting there was confused and stressed until the doors finally opened. My appointment was at 10:10 AM, and I was token number 2. At the entrance, they checked my appointment letter and passport and scanned my belongings. Once I entered, the staff directly told me to take the Premium Service without even asking if I wanted the general service. The Premium Lounge cost 5,513, and they also tried offering a UK SIM card. Honestly, I didn't use any of the premium services except getting done a bit faster -- which would have happened anyway because I was the second person inside. The entire process (document scanning, fingerprinting, and signature) took just 10-15 minutes. They also promote additional services like "Cure" health insurance for students and ask you to pay around 450 extra. Personally, I don't recommend taking it. The charges feel too high, and students are pressured into premium options even when not needed. This is something VFS should seriously improve. On a positive note, I randomly met Anudeep KV (Director of Jathi Ratnalu & Prince) in the lounge, had a cappuccino with him, and had a nice conversation -- which honestly became the best part of my visit. Overall, the visa process was quick, but the clarity, pricing, and pushing of add-ons really need improvement.

This Visa application centre is on the panjagutta metro station , very convenient to reach. Visa application Process is hassle free, just make sure you have all the documents listed in the vfs global checklist and any additional document which you wish to submit as part of your visa application. Donot carry laptop, iPad etc., no eatables, they won't allow inside, however mobile phone is allowed, you can check the photo attached. In case you have laptop or other things, there is locker facility outside. There is facility for printing etc outside, but it's expensive (e.g. 30 per print), so get everything yourself or better go for premium lounge service of vfs if you are doubting yourself. Nevertheless there is a shop outside as a last option for all assistance such as photo, photocopy etc. so if you have missed something, it's ok, but better be prepared with everything beforehand. Parking: you can park your vehicle in the adjacent mall, and can go to second floor via lift in the mall, mall is directly connected to the metro station via bridge. That's it, all the best for your VISA application and bon voyage (I have given 4 star just because they charge for everything unnecessarily. The services which should be provided in a standard application such as document guidance, assistance etc, are provided as a premium package with less wait time, the sms update service is 479 extra, something which should be covered in VFs application fee itself, there are many more.)

Mr. Nabeel and Mr. Jayanth were extremely courteous, patient, and guided us through the paperwork with great support, making the process completely stress-free. The security staff were also polite and professional. The center itself is neat, clean, and well-maintained, which adds to the overall positive experience. Overall, a very pleasant and hassle-free service experience. Highly recommended for anyone applying for a Schengen visa.

We applied for Schengen Visa and fixed appointment with VFS. We parked our car in adjacent Galleria Mall and took the lift to the 2nd floor. We can skywalk to Punjagutta Metro station and go down to VFS through elevator. The staff received us with Namaskar and guided us to our place. We booked Premium Lounge service. They offer snacks, fruit juices and coffee as complimentary. We are assigned to a staff who collected all the documents and assisted us to biometrics. They offer to get your documents printed in case you do not get them by yourself. There is a dedicated photographer for taking your passport photos. Travel Insurance is also available in the same premises. It was pleasure to see the work being done so professionally and quickly without any inconvenience to us. The staff are so cordial and very friendly. Thank you VFS. Appreciate your dedication.

Japan Visa counter Staff right from security to the desk were very cooperative, calm and never rushed. The space is well maintained and easy to navigate. Though it is said the office opens at 8 AM, i think there will be very less staff. I reached around 9.45 and there were only 2 staff and rest of 6-7 counters were empty. It took ~45 minutes to finish the process. More staffs can be deployed i feel. The only disappointment is paying parking charges. VFS uses Galeria mall parking and they are not free. We are paying huge service charge, VFS can plan to make the parking in the mall free. It gives a good experience. No need to keep phone in locker, staff is very professional and helpful. reach around 9.45

I had booked a slot for 9am for a business visa to Poland. Reached on time and collected the token at 9am sharp. I noticed people who came way after me were getting called to submit documents. When my token was not called for 90 mins, I went to the counter and inquired. 15 mins later they called me and collected the docs. The next 90 mins nothing happened, no call for biometrics. So i inquired at the counter again. They hadn't submitted my file yet and started doing it in front of me. By this time, more than 3.5 hours have passed. I talked to one of the staff and he called the manager who arrived at the spot 15 mins later. I spoke with her and she got my biometrics done in the next 10 mins. While leaving I asked her the reason for the delay and her response was baffling. She said she will investigate while the people who caused the delay were sitting right there. At this point I just left. I have gone thru Schengen visa process before in Hyd and it is not like this. This experience was pathetic and the staff in this center were incompetent, dishonest, and careless to say the least.

Centre is located in the Metro Stattion , on the floor which connects into the adjacent shopping mall and is below the train platforms . If you are coming by car , you have a dedicated VFS parking in B2 floor of the Galleria shopping mall ( the mall is owned by the Metro and has direct connection to the metro station ) . They charge you for the parking , although first 30 mins is free . There are a lot of baggage storing , photocopy and photographer options within the metro station , all catering to visa applicants . There are different doors for different group of countries . The premium lounge is in the Schengen visa area .
