I visited the Begumpet Passport Seva Kendra recently -- the place was quite crowded . The staff were doing their best to manage everyone, but the waiting time was long due to the heavy rush. It's better to book an early morning slot to avoid long queues. The security and document verification process were well organized , and the officials were polite and helpful. However, the crowd management and seating area could be improved. Overall, a decent experience but needs better handling during peak hours.

Worst experience, especially at Counter B. They didn't even allow me to quickly get one missing document from my car, which was parked right outside. If I had been given that chance, my work would have been completed the same day. Instead, the entire day was wasted. My application is now on hold, and the next available slot is more than 20 days away. All documents were already uploaded online, yet they still insisted on physical copies. Instead of simply verifying the document ID on the government portal, they chose to be rigid and unhelpful. There was absolutely no empathy, no flexibility, and no willingness to help. A completely useless system run by people who don't care. Honestly, i really wish AI should take these people job first and it would bring more efficiency and peace for everyone.

It was so busy for a Wednesday. People are friendly, everything is well maintained and no delays if you are there on time. I went there for a renewal by 11:30 when my actual schedule was for 12:30PM. I was done by 1PM. The staff were friendly and calm, unlike vijayawada PSK.

I visited the Begumpet Passport Office for Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) and the process was very quick. I finished everything in just 15 minutes. Token Counter and Counter A are fast, they verify documents and take your photo quickly. But for passport work, it usually takes more time, especially at Counter B and Counter C, where the process is slow. You need to wait and watch your token on the TV screen. You have to stand in line 15 minutes before your slot to enter. There's no seating outside. Wheelchair access is available, which is good. One issue is no proper water facility inside, they should arrange drinking water for people waiting. Staff were okay. Overall, a smooth and quick experience for PCC if you're well-prepared with documents.

The overall experience at the Passport Office was below expectations. While the procedures were carried out, there was insufficient clarity in communication and guidance provided to applicants. The waiting time exceeded the scheduled appointment, indicating a need for better time and queue management. Improved coordination, clearer instructions, and a more systematic approach would significantly enhance the efficiency and quality of service. It is hoped that appropriate measures will be taken to improve the applicant experience.

I recently went to the Passport Seva Kendra in Begumpet, I had an appointment at 9 o'clock. When I reached there, there was a huge crowd, especially at the front office. After that, when I went to the A, B, and C counters, the staff there were very good and they completed the process quickly. Overall, my experience was good, book your appointment in the morning.

I took 1 hour to do my makeup because I wanted a decent picture and the woman at the counter rushed me and made sure she got the worst possible shot of me. This passport will stay for 10 years and I wanted to look good each time. The passport pictures in other countries looks good but in a market like India I can only dream of having a safe space to get to look good. I know others have bigger problems but my effort got wasted and this bad picture will last for 10 years.

We visited the Begumpet Passport Office for a renewal recently. The overall experience was mixed. While some sections worked efficiently, others were chaotic and to be honest - frustrated! We reached early and entry was smooth. At the Reception and Section A was well-managed -- documents were verified, photos taken, and things moved quickly. But Section B turned out to be the bottleneck -- limited staff, poor crowd control, very few seats, and loud announcements created confusion. Despite tokens, the atmosphere resembled a ration shop more than a service office. The Section C was even slower -- only 3 officers managing the large crowd, and one of them often unavailable and the poor attendant directing people vaguely to wait elsewhere, even minors and elderly. The most disappointing part: after all the wait, we were asked to go back to Section A due to a document clarity issue (which should have been flagged earlier). Repeating the entire process again was exhausting. It's disheartening to see known/recommended individuals getting priority while others wait for hours! Tatkal applicants also add to the queue, yet there's no separate handling. In opinion, the Taktal must be separated, somewhere else so others don't get offended. Overall, the system needs better planning, space management, accountability, and empathy towards the public -- especially for families, elderly, and children.
