FOR DROPBOX APPLICANTS ONLY: 1. The Dropbox counters are located inside the metro station itself (1st floor) 2. Carry only the documents listed as mandatory on the official website. They usually don't take extra supporting documents. Even if they ask, there are printout shops on the same floor, just a few feet from the counters. 3. It's better to take your photo at the centre itself. Even if studios claim they know US visa specs, small issues (like body-face ratio, positioning, etc.) may result in you being asked to retake the photo at the centre. Photos there cost 300 for 2 copies upstairs and 250/ two copies down. 4. For Dropbox applicants, mobiles, electronic devices, bags, etc., are allowed inside. 5. Don't arrive too early- 30 minutes before your slot is enough. Entry is batch-wise as per time slot. 6. Though Dropbox says the applicant's presence isn't required, they may still call the applicant (mainly for photo related issues).

I had a seamless experience at the US Visa Application Centre for my biometrics/OFC/fingerprints, and I highly recommend it! Getting there is super easy--just reach the metro station and head upstairs. There are clear signs everywhere saying "Visa Application Center", so trust me, you won't get lost. Highlights: 1. The staff were extremely courteous, professional, and guided me whenever needed. I truly appreciate their professionalism. 2. Make sure to carry your most recent and completed DS-160 form and passport, regardless of your visa type. 3. If your appointment is at 10:00 AM, they allow you to stand in line early (around 9:00-9:30 AM), so being punctual is key. 4. If you need to fill out a new DS-160, get a passport-size photo, or make Xerox copies, don't worry--there are convenient facilities nearby within the metro station. Important to note: If your DS-160 details don't match your appointment confirmation page or passport, you will not be allowed inside. Make sure all details are correct and up-to-date. Luggage/Storage: Cell phones, electronics, backpacks, or luggage aren't allowed inside. You can either keep them with someone accompanying you or use the locker facilities at the metro station. Food: No need to go far! The metro station has a few restaurants where you can grab breakfast or lunch before your appointment. Overall, the process was smooth, well-organized, and stress-free. Kudos to the staff and the entire setup for making the visit so efficient!

For us, the experience was good as it was only submission of passport for interview waiver. It was about 30 minutes including waiting time and verification of documents. Staff were courteous and helping. However, the location is at such an open place without any other basic facilities like restrooms or sitting place even limited. I think, being concourse area, there was no effective air conditioning and it could be hotter in summer. We have no alternative though.

Directions from the staff can be better. Citizens were standing in a wrong queue while there were separate queues for Drop Box and Biometrics. Beggar was bothering citizens standing in the queue while security was not acting unless complained and was sighting helplessness due to the place being a metro station and a public place while being mean to citizens who were waiting. Locker and Xerox facilities are available near the centre.

PS: US visa passport delivery is 850. This was stamped on the passports. Blue dart puts a stamp of Rs. 1200 on the envelope and collects that amount. Strange .. what is the correct amount ? Overall very smooth process. Ensure your docs are in order and DS160 is not older than a year. Else create new form. The place is on the first floor of Madhapur Hitech metro station. Visa drop box counter is there. I went for OFC or biometrics cum document checking process before US Visa interview. One issue is the waiting area is just where the elevator of the metro lands. So waiting there for long will be an issue. Just land 30 minutes before your appointment time. Once you enter it's just 10 minutes. They will put a sticker on your passport which is proof of biometrics completion. They check the appointment letter,DS160 and passport when you are in the queue. You can carry your wallet and transparent files. You can't take your mobile. You can pay 100 and put your phone in the locker at the shops below on both sides of the metro. There is PVR mall next building and you can park your car there.. but it opens 11 am..

Great experience. Fast service and very organized. This is on mezzanine floor of hitech city metro station. Queue is managed as per time slot and once you are in literally in less than 10 minutes you should be able to complete. Prefer that do not carry anything else apart from required documents Ds150, confirmation & all passports..

There is no waiting hall. No wash room. Most irresponsible Center ever. We have to wait on platform steps of Metro station. If you want to go to waharoom , we have to visit Galleria Mall . If you want to park 4 wheelar , again you have to visit Mall.

Also, be aware that you can't carry any personal items, including cell phones, into the center. There are small lockers available for rent, but it's best to come with minimal belongings. The entire process takes about 30 to 40 minutes, so it's relatively quick and straightforward if you're prepared.
