India post - post office

Service was good. UPI pavements are not accepting intentionally. Postal people should look over it. Proper sinage should placed to locate essay.

Quick service, I speed posted 12kgs to another state coasted me 920rs. But I received damaged parcel, most of the items are missing. Disappointed.

The post office is shifted from its earlier place near LB Nagar metro. It is a much bigger post office. It has ample parking space in the basement and also infront of the post office. The staff are co-operative , and patiently answer all your questions. I went there for a speed post , it costed me 47.20, and I gave them a 500/- note. They did not ask me for change or pester to bring some change. They took the note, asked me to wait for a minute, and the lady at the speed post counter went to another counter to get some change and returned 452/- rupees. India posts also runs it's India Post Payment Bank from this branch. I haven't noticed any QR code for payments through BHIM. And some people there are not wearing masks or not wearing them properly. (Holding in hands, wearing on beard, or in chin) so be careful.

Post man is not delivering posts in house though House Number is written. Phone is not working. Even I called Saroor Nagar post office also, they are not listing calls.

The staff are co-operative , and patiently answer all your questions. I went there for a speed post. It is learnt that nearby post office refused to book article for Speed Post/Registered Post are accepting to customer not suffer

I had a terrible experience at the post office while trying to collect the parcel. The postman who suppose to deliver the package to the house by speed post, Not even he tried to come to the actual location and argued that he had come to the place. Postmaster was good and well-behaved. but, There was a lady and delivery postman in this post office who was not even educated, and involved in unnecessary arguments and I don't know how all these illiterates got jobs there. These post offices should be privatised and appoint some sensible & educated people.

Staff became worst. Nil knowledge about accounts and transactions. Staff like this will never expect correct service from them. Some times strongly felt, does getting a central government job so easy, that can survive with zero knowledge but bag full of salaries. I strongly recommend, postal department should privatized which improve accountability and responsibilities in staff.

A post office in the L. B. Nagar(NH65 Highway). It is working well. Post man delivers the mail in the neighbourhood and it is most reliable service in this generation of digital and fast courier services. If some important documents which needs the customer's sign at the time of delivery, and the customer is not present in the delivery location then one must come here to pick up the mail . I had similar experience with my passport. All the stamps and post cards are available to purchase. Staff is also helpful and smart. Overall, A good old school post office. Stay safe!! Thanks
