I had a disappointing experience with this consultancy. Despite clearly informing them about my travel dates for an important conference, the processing of my two visa applications was delayed. This directly affected the availability of suitable visa appointment slots. Even after I expressed concern about timelines--since most sources, including official websites, indicate a 15-21 day processing period--I was repeatedly assured that the visa would arrive within 7 days based on their "experience." Unfortunately, this was not the case in my situation. My visa was approved by the UK government after 18 working days, and I missed the conference as a result. Had they provided the correct timeline beforehand, I could have taken steps to expedite the process. I was also told during the consultation that no additional payments were required beyond the visa fee. However, at the time of slot booking, I was unexpectedly informed that there were extra charges for the Visakhapatnam centre. While these charges are common for a premium visa centre, as a consultancy handling many visas should be aware of basic details such as which centres offer regular slots and which are premium (in my case, this amounted to 80% of the UK standard visa fee, so I have opted other centre in the last minute having no choice and the explanation given was that they don't know that a fee to be paid for the premium visa centre in Visakhapatnam before keeping slot). Additionally, I had to revise the cover letter myself and suggest changes to several responses. Considering the consultancy fee I paid, the guidance and support were far below expectations. The core value of paying a service fee is to receive reliable expertise and guidance--not just assistance in filling out forms or opening application links--and in this case, that expectation was not met. Furthermore, after visa approval, there was miscommunication between VFS and Blue Dart regarding passport delivery, which was not a fault of consultancy. While the consultancy attempted to help, it was ultimately the Blue Dart manager who responded to my email and ensured my passport was returned. Although my visa was eventually approved for 6 months, it did not arrive when I needed it most. Overall, they respond to calls and messages on time but their service lacked expertise by which we were misguided, and I would advise others to evaluate their options carefully.

I would like to clarify a few points to ensure accurate understanding of the timeline and services provided: 1. While I paid the consultation fee on 4th October, I had specifically inquired on 29th September whether any other fees were to be paid. At that time, you did not mention additional charges apart from tentative travel and hotel bookings along with travel insurance, which were taken care of me. 2. I had clearly informed you that my conference dates were 9th-12th November, with planned travel starting on 7th November (to account for travel time exceeding 24 hours) and returning on 13th November. Kindly do not confuse or misrepresent these dates. It is important that your response reflects the correct timeline. The visa being processed on 6th November, It doesn't mean I can travel on 7th without receiving the passport. 3. You mention that the application was submitted on 10th October, I agree but with assurances that biometrics could be done at our location. Upon selecting the date, you then informed us of additional VFS center charges. As experienced consultants, it is expected that you are aware that the Visakhapatnam VFS center operates as a premium center and appointment charges are applicable prior. This should not have come as a surprise to you at the last stage. 4. Given the high fee of 18,000 at the Visakhapatnam center, we inquired about alternatives. You suggested Chennai with the earliest available slot on 16th October. I had specifically asked about processing times before confirming the slot, and you informed me it would be 7 days. This information was inconsistent with publicly available guidance (15-21 working days). Had the correct timelines been shared, we could have opted for priority visas, which you quoted as only 5,000 extra per visa. 5. You mention that Gateway Visas extended full support despite the applicants' lack of prior international travel and absence of sponsorship, except for the conference. For your clarity: we do have prior international travel history (for our holiday to Indonesia, which may or may not be considered as International from your end), and sponsorship was not required as we opted for a standard tourist visa not work visa. All expenses were covered jointly by the conference support, my office and our own funds, which exceeded the visa fund requirements. There is nothing which you managed regarding the sponsorship and travel history, and the phrasing suggesting you "faced challenges and managed efficiently" is misleading. Kindly ensure accuracy or let us know what challenges you faced with travel history and sponsorship and how did you mitigate or manage it. My final insight is Although you communicated professionally during the entire process, The combination of inaccurate assurances, misinformation, and inadequate guidance resulted in lost time, financial expense, and a missed professional opportunity. While the visa was eventually issued, it failed to serve the purpose for which the service was engaged. Ensure clients receive accurate, expert, and reliable service.
