I recently visited Lucknow Passport Seva Kendra for passport re-issue, as my previous passport had expired. Overall, my experience was very smooth and well-managed. From entry to exit, the process was systematic and organized. The token system works properly, and the staff guides you clearly at every counter. I was slightly nervous initially, but the staff behavior was polite, professional, and supportive, especially at the verification and correction counters. Document verification was done carefully, and officials explained everything patiently wherever clarification was needed. Even for minor corrections, the staff was helpful and cooperative. The waiting area was clean, and announcements were clear, which made it easy to follow the process. I would strongly recommend: * Reach on time * Carry all original documents + photocopies * Follow instructions shown on screens If documents are correct, the process is quick and hassle-free. Overall, a very good experience. Good job by the Lucknow PSK team for maintaining discipline and efficiency.

I had an average experience at this passport office. The A-series verification was managed smoothly; however, after the A-series, the B and C counters were not managed properly. A large crowd had gathered in this area. The main reason for this unmanageable crowd, as I noticed, is that these counters share a common waiting area. All applicants are permitted to wait near counters B and C, even though their token numbers require them to wait for 1-2 hours. This situation could be better managed by directing applicants to the main waiting area and allowing only those whose turn is approaching to wait near counters B and C. One positive aspect is that they provide a photocopy outlet within the premises, which is very helpful. It is advisable to carry photocopies of all required documents. Additionally, carrying a water bottle is recommended, as the crowd at counters B and C can be overwhelming and staying hydrated helps in such crowded conditions.

A few tips if you're planning to visit: carry original documents along with self-attested photocopies, even though there's a photocopy counter inside. This saves time and avoids any last-minute stress. I carried: * Digitally verified Aadhaar printout (from a cyber cafe or Jan Suvidha Kendra) * Class 10 & 12 mark sheets * PAN card * Driving license (precautionary) * Electricity bill (precautionary) * Passport-size photo * Dot pen Now, about my visit, I was honestly a bit scared before going because of the negative reviews google maps. I expected long waits, rude staff, and issues with documents. But to my surprise, everything went super smoothly. I reached exactly at my scheduled appointment time. Security checked my appointment slip and let me in. Got my token and moved through the counters. In Section A, the staff verified my documents, uploaded them, and took my photo. In Counter B, I just sat for a minute, no questions asked and was sent to Section C. There too, no questions, they just marked "exit" on my slip and I was done. Total time spent was around 2.5 hours, broken down roughly like this: * 10-15 mins at the token counter * 10-15 mins waiting for counter A * 30-40 mins waiting for Counter B * 20-30 mins waiting for Counter C So most of the time was due to long queues, not the actual processing, which was quick and smooth at each counter. Also, I was really impressed with how clean and well-maintained the Passport Seva Kendra was. The washroom was clean and usable (which is rare in government buildings), and the AC made a huge difference while waiting in line. Without it, the whole experience would've felt long and exhausting

My experience was pretty much swift and hassle free. Here's a step by step things i did, the process and the documents I carried. After applying, you will get an acknowledgement slip. Please carry a printout of it, even though it says no need to carry it but do carry it. For non ecr passport carry your 10th class passing certificate (not the marksheet), aadhar card ( for some reason they wanted my pvc addhar card's printout rather than the e signed one), your pan card. Carry 2 printout of each and sign them as well. Please be on time this is very important. I reached the office, gaurd let me in and i straight away went to get my token. After the token, you should immediately go for counter A there is always someone to guide you there so don't worry but do keep your eyes and ears open if your name or token number is being called out. Counter A, your documents will be scanned, fingerprint and signature will be captured. Please try to go in decent haircut as photograph will be captured and it will stay on your password for 10 years. After that wait for your turn on counter B, there's ample space you can sit or stand as per the availability. Follow the screen, go to your respective counter. Both counter B and C your documents will be verified, sometimes they might ask you questions but in my case they didn't even check my original documents twice ( pro tip- dress nice, I felt people who where in lowers or t shirts were being questioned) after final verification on counter C, immediately you will receive a message if everything is right, application process granted and now wait for police verification. Overall it took me only 45 minutes and I was on my way home. Please carry all the original documents, printouts( there are printers in the office itself but better carry yourself), be on time, dress properly and everything will be alright. I hope it helps. Reissue of Passport takes at least 2 hours on a good day. Be prepared with a small bottle of water, power bank etc. Important information- 1. Carry original documents and their photocopy (sign your name on each page) 2. Carry original passport 3. A "verified" print of Aadhar card is a MUST. It is easy to obtain beforehand from a Common Service Centre for Rs.20. 4. Washrooms are extremely dirty, don't come with expectations

It is located on the ratan square ground floor at Burlington chouraha near hajratganj vidhan sabha marg... The location is porche and convenient.. I saw the mixing of reviews there. Some are saying that they experienced very well some are saying that they are looted by agents.. Overall in my experience, the place is good but honestly reviewing this particular password office is dustbin. Not very spacious and no seating facilities available. Workers and staff behaviour are very rude and like they are the prime minister of this office.. If u want to visit then take all the documents properly, because one page of printing costs you 100 of rupees there. If u have digilocker and digitally verified documents then its ok. Again if u have all the documents properly u have to face the problems because without agents ur work will not be done... Workers and staff all have settings with the brokers and agents and they will find u u don't need to find them.

It is situated on the main road, just ahead of Vidhan Sabha. The building's name is Ratan Square and it is very popular and has very good connectivity from all over the place, it has a well-paid parking space for bikes and cars. Inside the passport Kendra, they have a very organized counter and a proper display screen for displaying the token number, the staff is very cooperative and helpful. Before going for the passport service have all original documents required and have photocopies with you and a PEN . This will help you with last-minute hustle. Passport applications can be submitted online and 1500rs fees for fresh/renewing passports are also submitted online as you are done with all three counters from passport Seva Kendra you will get an SMS, and you can regularly track your application status.

PSK Lucknow located at the center of the city! Located in Ratan Square Building behind the Pioneer Masjid on Vidhan Sabha Marg Proper facility of car parking! Slight delayed process here! But peaceful! You can easily find xerox shops just outside!
