The west gate entrance to the Taj Mahal offers a breathtaking first glimpse of this iconic monument. While queues can be long, the anticipation builds as you approach the grand marble structure. It was a good experience. Taj Mahal is 700 meters away from the west gate parking lot. Ticket windows are usually full, I suggest buying tickets online if you don't want to waste time by standing in a long queue.

Both online and offline tickets option is there. But I'd suggest to book online tickets to avoid crowd. The architecture is breathtaking. I would suggest to visit once in morning and evening. It's worth to visit twice. Water and washroom facility is there. If you want you can visit Mumtaz tomb inside. It will cost 200/- extra as far as I can remember.
