Disappointing Experience at Post Office for Aadhaar Services Today (29/07/2025), I visited the post office around 11 AM to apply for a new Aadhaar card for my son. When I entered, the post office was not crowded--only 2-3 people were present. I directly approached the Aadhaar counter, but the staff told me to wait until 1 PM. When I asked why, they simply said, "As per your token, you need to wait." I agreed and continued waiting. However, during this time, no one else came for Aadhaar services, and the staff were not doing any work either. Later, they called me and asked for the parent's Aadhaar, stating that it must be renewed before applying for a child's Aadhaar. I was confused, as my Aadhaar KYC had already been updated recently. When I asked for clarification, the staff simply said, "That's the rule," without explaining anything further. This kind of behavior is disappointing. Government offices should guide people clearly and be user-friendly. Instead, I found the staff uninterested and lacking proper communication skills. If my KYC is already updated, why should I renew again? If the process isn't clear even to the staff, how can the public understand it? This experience clearly shows why people prefer private services--they are faster, clearer, and more respectful. I hope the concerned authorities take steps to improve staff training and customer handling at post offices.

Very poor crowd management. Consumers got to wait out for their turn for hours. The usual "internet slow" is the answer one gets. The staff are sincere but they need better IT infrastructure and maybe more training. But the equipment and infra levels are poor which is not helping them perform the day to day activities.
