Thiruvanmiyur Post Office

Dear People who all writing the 1 Star and negative feedback, Kindly do understand. First of all understand the employees who works in service. They are not robots. They are humans like you. If you cry They also do cry. If you smile They do smile. If you cannot wait for more than 15 mins or half an hour better go for paid services like bluedart professional and other courier services. But when comparing to paid courier services, Govt Post Offices paid services are better. If you are in hurry or you visiting here during lunch hours like you working somewhere and try to finish your work here during their lunch time means horrible you are ! Be a human first and write review Truly!. Read all my reviews of you have time. And coming to my review on this Thiruvanmiyur Post office. People are busy in working at the time of 5Pm. I went for to post and a male staff who wears a white t shirt lean tan skin guy was really helpful and approachable. He was busy in both customer telephone queries and postal bookings. For me it was just 5 mins. For European Posts usually takes 2 weeks for speed posts and costs 2500 rupees. And normal post means only 50 rupees stamps needed. Takes 2 weeks time to reach from Chennai to Europe. Giving 5 stars for my visit here. My Experience here was Nice.

Wow.. what an experience here... from registered postal delivery to Adhar updation to post office deposit schemes to rapid courier... both domestic and international... the old post office has been completely transformed... great to see such a large institution bubbling with energy and action

Need to get an appointment first for aadhar update service. Then only they ll proceed for our need. If they are free also they won't do the work.. For an emergency update i went with my kid. They refused to do.. Told to take another one day leave then come and get token and come for the upgrade he said.. In private e sevai also they closed their services.. Palavakkam Centre too closed for a week.. Worst service....

Aadhar Center opens sharp at 9 AM and they issue token and first 15 token can use the service immediately and above 15 have to come in the afternoon. Gentleman at the Aadhar center was very polite and explained the details required for the respective services very patiently.

Its average decent post office middle thiruvanmiyur. Some staff's little bit rude. Otherwise dedicated office.

Such a worst experience from the lady who is booking the Courier. She is not answering the questions I raised regarding the duration of the speed post to arrive. And she is not knowing the Tamil Language. She simply closes her mouth and gives the receipts. If she is not interested in doing the work should leave the job and give the changes to the interested person.

Very worst service i think the employee in this post office don't know their roll and work , you will be their play ball one person will sent you to another person and that other person will sent to to another person same repeated. If anyone one to wast their time i kindly suggest you @thiruvanmayur post office please do visit you won't regret

Good post office. Larger in size. Not crowded all the time. They have Speed post also. They deliver on time. No fuss. Easy courier and of course less charges than other services. Go for it.
