Sithalapakam Post Office

Small place so with 6 person standing it looks crowded. No 4 wheeler parking and 2 wheeler parking is just on streets. Speed post available until 3pm. Please carry glue & pen if required

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding an experience I had at your post office today According to the official display board outside the office, speed post and other parcel services are available until 3:30 p.m. However, upon arriving at 2:35 p.m., I was informed that they had stopped accepting speed post at 2:30 p.m. This is not only misleading but also unfair to customers who rely on the posted timings for timely service. I specifically checked the displayed schedule before coming, and I was still turned away despite being only 5-6 minutes past what staff claimed was the "actual" closing time. The staff member further said that all other packages were already packed and she could not include mine. I find this extremely unprofessional. Government service staff are appointed to serve the public based on the officially communicated service hours--not personal convenience. If the collection cutoff is earlier than 3:30 p.m., then it must be clearly mentioned on the board to avoid such inconvenience to others. I felt agitated and deeply dissatisfied with the experience. I will be raising this issue further through the ASP and other appropriate channels, as this kind of conduct should not be repeated. I sincerely hope this complaint is looked into seriously and necessary action is taken to ensure clarity in service hours and accountability among staff. Thank you.

Very worst behaviour note to proper work buying salary

A post office should be easy to locate and in a main road. Same happening jn medavakkam, sithalapakam and perumbakkam. Even tambaram branch is messy old building and poor staff and customer service is absolutely bad. A private firm should take and make it proper and approachable staffs and educated. It should be neat and tidy. Difficult to find on google map and its in a very small house. International parcels they are not taking in this traffic how can we go everytime to tambaram to send parcel.

Small space, not sufficient for the public to do postal service related work from here. Even though Post master is kind enough to have a friendly attitude with public shortage staff leads to lot of problems.

Staff not common a particular male staff demand amount for deliver the post office things... If someone oppose I can share the audio and phone call convo.. this kind of ppel bringing blame to humanity, govt , and government services
