Saudi visa Center

I went today 30/01/2024 to assist my brother and sister-in-law both senior citizens. Excepting that we were allowed only 15 minutes before the interview every were people were kind, helpful and courteous. We were politely offered coffee/ juice with biscuits. We were directed to counter No 15 where Mr. Ram Prakash did his work with absolute patience. His silent efficiency with utmost respect to the applicants is remarkable. I bow my head to the service rendered by every one in the centre and wish them all that is just and best.

Very good service. Polite and humble staff. Mr. Umesh handled me; he is a very good and humble person.

Very worst service. No parking for who come saudi visa visitors. They only allow who need a visa with a appointment who all are coming with they didn't allowed inside the building.. awaiting so long in out of the building. So many girls and children are struggling for waiting over time. Even though watchman behaviour very very worst .. saying some bad words about visitors.. this chennai service centre is one of the useless for everyone...

Pros : 1. Very friendly staffs. they do suggest ways if some document is missing and if something can be done. 2. The place is clean and well airconditioned. Drinking water and restroom are available. 3. They don't force about the normal or lounge service, but do explain about it and the price difference as per their job responsibility. 4. At reception itself they would check if all documents are sufficient and tell you what can be done. 5. Was told the process takes 10-15 working days but received visa in 3 days after medical fitness was updated. 6. They do call you a day before appointment and update all the required documents. They do mention clearly on all the reuired documents and the number of photocopies needed in case we apply as a family. Clarify your doubts , as they answer your queries with patience.They mention approximate cost which would be more than what was mentioned in website after booking appointment as that include some medical insurance and value added services. 7. The process is streamline and neatly organised from reception to payment and during passport collection also. Cons: 1. No parking space. Better to take auto/cab/public transport. 2. No waiting space with shades outside the complex. Go just 15 mins before your slot. It is not their issue. They dont have facility inside to accomodate more people as there are multiple office operating in same complex. Atleast just the applicants can be let inside may be before 30 minutes of the appointment slot. 3. No space for anyone accompanying the applicant. Even applying as a family (spouse plus one or more children) , the father has to stand outside the small space near the reception as mother can take care of the children. But they do mention this very clearly in tasheer website and in instructions after booking appointment. Make arrangements for whoever accompanying you. It is very difficult to stand in hot sun in Chennai ,the process might take close to 1.5 hour plus (based on crowd). Only an extra adult is allowed for minor children when mothger is not applying together with them. 4.Website is not updated with exact fees, they can mention the extra charges on medical fees when we submit all details about the applicants - visa type, age,gender,marital status ,etc 5. The process of cancellation and rebooking is not chargeable if we cant wait before the next try. Else, we may have to take up the lounge service as we can only upgrade if need a cancellation and rebook within 3 days or the period specified in their website. Do check the rules before applying. 6. Please check about the value added services - SMS and printout at the document verification counter and before paying. The staffs are friendly and respond to all our queries. I was told sms is not chargeable so selected that and signed the form but was charged. I missed to cross check before paying and ended up in paying GST for printout service..Seriously 500+ does not make any sense.And charging for prinout of a paper after the visa charges is too much . These are value added services but didnt receive any status update on my visa not even on the visa receipt. Got only passport ready for collection sms as I didnt opt for courier. Had to spend about 1000 + for the services I didnt wanted for and i didnt receive despite paying.The printout was not even colour one and clear.Had to reprint. 7. Website is not updated.Visa status was not updated at all. Keep checking your email (updates folder)where silently you get an email of your visa , so you can plan your travel early and at a better ticket price. 8. Website is not updated for the document needed. For minors applicant Polio certificate apostille and translation is mandate. (both front and back page translation is required now). We got the update from the agent who helped us in getting apostille, else could have ended up in rebooking an appointment after receiving translation service. They can have a valid translation service inside the premise when the website cant be updated on time.

Guys .. I've been to VFS today ..kindly my request never opt for premium , they will try to canvas saying lounge refreshments and express process etc etc .. I paid extra amount ..my app time was 10.45 whereas my process ended by 3 ..they lot money even tho normal service happens more faster than premium .....I request never ever opt for premium.. refreshments has coffee tea normal Britannia cake and tin juices ...will that cost 5k ? Worse to worse service.behaviour of all staff are very rude. Please take. Action

Had to go for biometrics for a visit visa to dammam. Head ache started from the front desk. As with other reviewers they give all reasons to opt premium, if you opt for normal, they see you like an insect. Lot of complaints in the documents, it is small, not visible , not clear.. everything is online and they collect soft copy for all when they issue visit visa in the KSA embassy. Still they ask for hard copies and keep complaining regarding this. No help desk. No cafeteria or refreshment option for normal. People taking children's be prepared. It will take quite some hours for all the process to be over. The old process is comfortable. New process is expected to make things easy and fast. But this is worse. Still more training and hospitality arrangements have to be made. If tourists are planning for saudi. Beware of all these things.

I went biometric on 30-1-2025, they sending 15 minutes before appointment time.Waiting outside of the gate is the problem here and they take 2 hour time 10 minutes work .inside office staffs very good. Location near Ayyachi school saligramam bus stop.
