Post Office Selaiyur

Kudos to the team of staff of Selaiyur Post office for their customer oriented service. Am a senior citizen on home stay due to age related ailments and needed life certificate under Jeevan praman . I approached Ms Subashini erstwhile MADAMBAKKAM post office. She guided me and connected Selaiyur post office madam Lavanya. Ms Lavanya was supportive and arranged to send Ms Jeyachitra post women to my residence. The whole process was completed at my home in few days in 10 minutes. I would like to place this good work on record and wish all three of them good success in career and life Jaisimharajan Rajakilpakkam

Staff is very and responsible. Especially, k Senthil sir who provides post office services nearby post office is patience, knowledge and geniune person. Hat's off for his contribution with follow up in clearing my pending account closure case.

Very worst service.. The girl in that parcel and speed post section is too lazy and workung like a sloth. Doesn't know anything and not having any knowledge about anything. She doesn't give her name while i am asking. She literally wasted my time for more than 2hours. Doesn't know english and doesn't know tamil too. Please go directly to tambaram if you want to send any international parcel. Even normal parcel its better to go to tambaram

Most of the staff may come across as rude. If you face any issues, please contact the manager, ma'am. She is very kind, responsible, and always ready to help.

typical government office experience, when we go and ask for help regarding post and who is responsible, nobody will help, all they do is watching reels and debating politics.

Recently shifted from Mahalakshmi nagar to 15, Ezhil nagar behind puthu koil (near camp road junction). Although it is better than Mahalakshmi nagar, still not sufficient space for the volume of customers being handled especially from the customer side amenities/comforts. Token display can be duplicated outside the building at the entrance too. This will help part crowd to stand outside reducing the rush inside. Approach roads are quite narrow. Parking for two wheelers needs to be done on the street. However no space for. 4-wheelers. Better to park the vehicles a bit away.

Employee in this post office is so polite and patient to answer your queries. But it would be even great if the queue is cleared faster. Waiting time is little high compared to banks.

I have received a tracking details from India Post to my registered mobile number and got a notification of out for delivery with Assignee name. After sometime, they mentioned that the parcel delivered on my name without even delivering it to me. Everybody in our home and the apartment confirmed that nobody approached for Indiapost parcel delivery. I am trying to reach them on the given number and nobody answering the calls, even call not going at times. I raised a concern to the customer care but they are even worst, mentioning resolution provided to the registered email without sending any emails or anything. I do not know whom should I approach for process streamline as they become worst customer experience. People used to prefer India post for sending confidential documents. How come they can be like this without even contacting the receiver or not reachable in their premises.
