Worst mmd , Staff lack knowledge , staff are lazy , staff behave rudely But surveyor such as P.O are good. You know what as lower their ranking is higher their attitude is. i strongly recommend dg shipping to filter out useless peoples

Horrible service, poor management and response from the staff handling CDC. They don't even know what we are asking about and are totally clueless to handle any sort of queries over a call. They straightaway say no I don't know about this ask your friends. I Had to call several times and speak to different people over a period of one week in this same office to get clarity of the information. And they simply reject it after a period of time, wasting time and money. If applying for CDC DO NOT apply at this centre. Better to apply at the main head office in Mumbai. I would not recommend this centre at all guys.

Went there for BSID in June 2023. Came from kochi, as no appointment available there. MMD Chennai - location as in Google maps, on the 1st and 2nd floor of the SBI building. BSID done on the 1st floor. Security guard checks that u have print outs of application and appointment forms and issues a token number and guides u to waiting room - which is minimal but comfortable, enough seats, air con, charging points, a rather clean toilet - u can change in there, as I did after my long journey. Data collection as per token issued to you - takes about 3-5 minutes - mine was delayed by 1hr compared to my appointment schedule - but, hey, I won't complain. Staff were all efficient and courteous - a well run govt office. They checks and scans ur passport and cdc and takes ur pic and signature - so much for the biometrics. Most gripes I read in reviews were reg telephone helpline, which I didn't use, so I can't comment. All things considered, I'm happy with the visit.

Can anyone post the actual phone which we connect to this mmd, am from kerala and need some information from there. The number provided not seem to work and they are not responding to any mails.

Worst it was I applied sid 2months ago but it was not posted since this day. When will it post they also don't no calling to the number they are not lifting the calls, only they lift the calls on leaves day and says sir today is leave call me Tomorrow. Please don't apply this center apply mumbai mmd it was better.

The security behaves like he is the officer. Such a pain he is, doesn't keep his mouth shut. Talks louder and talks unwanted. If you are asked to wait then you have to bear his yapping. A security must do security job. Here he acts like an officer. He misguide. ( The guy I refer here is tall guy with Telugu accent. I am sure once you come here it won't be difficult to identify him). But when I heard him saying to another employee he has not been paid three months salary felt bad. Still he is doing his job and exceeded expectation.

Worst experience in an MMD ever. I kept calling them for several days but they don't even pick up the call. The staff is not ready to co operate at all. They don't understand the problem of a person, that from how far a person is coming to them for his work and they simply don't respond properly. Their behaviour with seafarers is also not appropriate
