They don't give u the correct information. I went for my aadhar card name change. 4 times i visited and each time they told me different things about required documentation. They don't accept gpay or card only cash

Not too crowded. Employees are so kind and politely clarifies all doubts. They follow the token format to meet each individuals needs. Place was so clean and safety measures are well maintained. You can also find la international post service inside here. It's better to come early as possible to avoid crowd.

I went there for the "My stamp", a new initiative by the government. Before coming here I went to Tnagar head office for the same (no proper clarity of any sort, and was told to go here). The person who was at the help desk was very patient, sweet and helpful to the maximum. I got what i wanted and was very happy with the support I received from her. I was really surprised to see the place hidden right under the middle of Chennai. Learnt so many things about stamps and stamp collectors as well. Do check this place out

This post office is functioning for 24 x 7, which is next to St. Thomas Mount post office (functioning for 24 x 7). Even on Sundays we can send the speed post. Its great initiative by Govt. of India.

Today I went to take new adhaar card for my kid. The process is simple. You should have the kid's original birth certificate, father or mother's original adhaar card. You have to first give these details to the person in the front desk and she will give you a form to fill and there will be a token number on the form. Then wait for your turn. No fee for kids new adhaar enrollment. For other corrections, addition and other works I thk we have to pay some 50rs. Overall great experience.

I am extremely disappointed with the service from india post.They failed to complete the required sender declaration for my international parcel(nz), which resulted in MPI flagging several items as biosecurity risks. Due to this oversight, some of my items had to be destroyed. This has caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and financial loss. we expected better attention to detail and compliance with international shipping regulations. I strongly advise the company to improve their process for handling customs and biosecurity declarationsworst experience!!

At 4pm on a weekday, when one walks into the Anna Salai Post Office, the counters are closed. The officers are all in place. But the counters are closed. And to book a registered post, one has to wait a long queue for hours. Quite disappointed with the state of once an efficient structure.
