Aadhaar Seva Kendra - Annanagar East

Went for new aadhar for our twin infants. They processed our application on priority. Would have loved if there was better crowd management. Better to avoid holidays as crowd is more. Space could have been better utilized and entrance is totally cramped.

For new enrollments at this location, we got our new Aadhaar numbers literally just in one day!! Specifically for those having OCI and Foreign Passport who needs to enroll new to get Aadhaar - this should be best location. Sharing the experience and some feedback below (primarily for OCI holders who need Aadhar). - Ensure you met the 182 stays of continuous stay before you apply for your Aadhar. At the time of your appointment visit, the verifier will be checking your original passport for your last entry date stamping. - Book appointment online AND take print outs of appointment confirmation letter. Soft copies will NOT be accepted to enter. - Proof of Identify - You must carry your original OCI & Foreign Passport. No Xerox copies needed (they haven't asked us) - Proof of Address - We took the Gazette B address form certificate and they accepted it. But important note - They were very particular about clearly visible Stamping & Signature on the photo! For our kids - We used the same form & got the stamp & sign from their School Principal. Note - Looks like there is a recent change in the Gazette form for address proof - ensure you use the latest from their website. - It was very crowded inside and better plan for 2 hours. All the staffs are really trying their best and hopefully they will stream line their processes in coming days & months. - Especially for kids, use your email address & phone number, as we will be getting both OTPs right there and we have to share them during the biometrics to complete the application. - There is NO Parking available inside this location. You have to plan to park on the street. - Since there is no fee for new enrollments we just got the token from the cash counter. But if you need to pay for any other services, ensure you have cash with exact change. They were "NOT" accepting UPIs/ Cards, as of Feb 2026. Good luck!!

People who took online appointment are given priority to enter on time. If there is direct walk in there is waiting time for 2 hours. Once we fill the application it takes 2 hours for enrolment or updation. The staff behaviour was not helpful and service was moderate only.

Anna nagar seva kendra (your complete guide and overview ) Pros 1. near to Anna Nagar East metro 2.procedure for biometric and other updates streamlined systematically 3.processes are easy to follow at Kendra if you are literate.. Cons 1. Sitting and waiting room are not efficiently planned (older and many women with infants were standing). Despite having multiple floor only 1st floor dedicated for all update and other adhar related concerns.. 2.NO proper instructions were mentioned,thus many people directly joined payment line without approving their respective forms from approving bench near cash counter.. My recommendation 1. Shall have seperate dedicated line and sitting for older +65 and below 15 age group children. I can't bear their agony at this centre.. 2.add more manpower due to high traffic of public to this dedicated centre.. I visited this seva kendra at 10.00 approx and get my work completed by 16.00 approx.. Thus keep schedule of the day pack for this mismanaged kendra And they won't allow post 14.00.. Thank you public

Very poorly managed center . Lethargic attitude of staffs . Neither there is any information on the procedures to be followed nor staff helps you . Horrible part is that all transactions are made only by cash and no UpI or card transactions ..
