First be humble with the security and that's it. (secret mantra) If you have a status showing passport under review with the RPO, and you really need to initiate your review before your appointment as usual the appointments are months long.So you can now request a letter by HAND to the authority at the gate and request them your emergency and with a request LETTER & emergency docs, they will the instantly take it inside for permission with the RPO and RPO shall advise the security to let you in and you can take it from the there. ALL THE AUTHORITIES ARE VERY VERY SUPER CO-OPERATIVE. so relax and reach BKC.

Utterly chaotic, unplanned and highly mismanaged. Huge lines with absolutely zero facilities for people standing outside in the got blazing sun in never-ending long lines, to just get inside the building complex. Just one security outside managing a crowd of hundreds waiting to get in. Even if you have a valid appointment. People are kept Waiting outside for hours past their appointment time. It's so badly managed that a simple passport application turns into a nightmare. Even the online portal for appointments is not working and it's immensely frustrating. With no clear instructions, guidance or support from anyone. Improve your services and facilities. I understand we are a third world country but we need to do better. This is not acceptable.

Horrible experience. Tried to reach the authorities through email and calls for enquiry which was crucial and pending since a month. They won't pick calls it's either always engaged or ringing till end. Even no reply in emails. The entry even for enquiry is through appointment basis which is not available for 2 months and its not mentioned anywhere in the enquiry notice in the front gate as well appointment has to be made in advance or how to make the appointment. They make you wait in line for 15 to 20 mins outside the gate and tell you when you reach the gate that it is appointment basis. The appointments through website is prebooked for 2 months, no date available till feb 1st week. No help through ivr number as well. This is why many people reach out to agents to get their passport made. I don't even want to give 1 star for this place!Very very disappointing.

The RPO office does not reply to emails. It's sad the issues raised on emails are not actioned and we speak of being Digital.They should actively work on this. Very difficult to get through the RPO office on phone. I hope they improve. Thanks

Giving 4 stars only, because this VIDESH bhavan employees don't pick calls or replies to the mails which could cause citizen to visit the place physically with prior appointment and no walk-ins , anyways their services are prompt, place is clean , officers are nice! They know their stuff, security guards are helpful! Don't go on Wednesday!

A systematic approach of working. Generally people come here related to address issues caused by police verification. Many a time, show cause notice are issued and to reply that, police department redirects people here. For coming here, western line people can get down at Bandra and other line at Kurla.

The passport office staffs are co-operative and guiding nature.. They are considering walk-in request for emergency cases with out appointment..
