Excellent service by staff makes it a comfortable process to apply for Visa. Definitely worth taking the premium lounge service. They take care of everything from prints to photo and assist in putting together all documentation. Limited parking is available at 300 for four wheelers for two hours.

I had my baby, my MIL and my appointment at 10.45am 10.30am . I had to travel interstate as VFS Netherlands application centre is not present in my hometown. On the day of my appointment, my little one was sick and running high fever. I had to take her to the emergency room and hence missed my flight at 6.20am. I finally reached Mumbai vfs Netherlands centre at 12pm. I was extremely scared and thought that they would reject us all. I explained the whole scenario to one of the vfs person who sit on the ground floor in entry lane (he does the initial documents check). This guy was so very polite and calmed me down. He was so service oriented and said "we are here to help you Ma'am, pl don't worry". I travelled from far and really wanted to get my visa application processing done and in my mind I was prepared to even pay for premium lounge service if he had to ask me. I was so pleasantly surprised that he accepted all 3 applications and even gave us premium lounge service for free. This made me feel that humanity still does exist. I am very grateful to you for helping me so much in my time of distress Sir (I forgot to ask his name). Premium lounge service was excellent. The lounge is very good and well maintained including the washrooms. They have a mini snacks and drinks centre as complimentary. Also, the staff on 5th floor were very helpful and friendly. Best part is that, my application has already reached the Netherlands embassy in less than 24 hrs. Once again I thank you Sir and staff of NL application centre for such a delightful experience. One of the worst Visa application experience in VFS Mumbai office VFS charges a lot of hidden charges 1. Laptop storage - 200 per hour or 329 for full day, suggest go for 2nd one as none of the countries processing is done within an hour of entry 2. B/w Print out - 150 upto 5 pages 3. Xerox - 5 rs per page 4. Photo - 200 None of these items are mentioned in the appointment letter and ask you to refer to their website. It took more than 1 hr for my Portugal Schengen visa screening. Schengen issued for Paris is issued within one week whereas Schengen applied for Portugal Visa is 3 working weeks Once token is allotted Biometric have taken less than 10 mins

Applied for Netherlands visa at Mahalaxmi center. Highly recommend the Premium lounge, especially because you might need last minute print outs or xerox or photos and they have everything in here. Pratham from VFS was quite helpful

One of the worst visa experiences. They make you wait in a parking lot kind of place that has no fans. It's badly managed. I think it is their tactic to sell the premium lounge that costs around Rs. 4000. At every step they kept pushing the premium lounge. I was slightly late for my appointment because of unavoidable circumstances and they said I may not be able to get in but if I opt for premium lounge, I have a chance. I have applied for many visas over the years and this is hands down the worst experience. They should treat people like humans and not animals by making them wait in a hot, non ventilated area. I was made to wait for an hour without any clear indication as to what time I'd be let in for the submission. They kept saying it's super busy today and we don't have any slots open, we haven't received a call from upstairs yet to let you in, etc etc. But would you like to opt for the premium lounge? The staff downstairs also misinformed me that I cannot reschedule my appointment. I will have to refill my entire visa form and only then can I reschedule. This was incorrect. Anyway, finally after an hour, I couldn't take the heat anymore so I got up to leave and thought of checking one last time. That's when they let me in and told me that they couldn't guarantee that I'd be attended to today but I still could opt for the premium option I didn't budge and tried my luck. Guess what, when I went upstairs, the visa lounge was almost empty, with very few people waiting for their turn (for different countries) my token number was called out within 30 secs. So where was all the crowd that they were hyping about downstairs? Positives: the team upstairs was pretty efficient and friendly and although it takes some waiting time in between different counters, it was pretty smooth and easy. Word of advise: don't go for premium. If you're late, tell them you'll wait or reschedule you appointment.

I recently visited the VFS centre for the Dutch visa i.e. in Jan 2024. I think the visa office n visa process is just fine. I was very concerned after reading the previous reviews but it wasn't like that for me. There is a waiting area where you wait after you arrive, 15 mins prior to your appointment time the guard calls out your time n visa destination and you are directed to the visa office. They do try to sell you the premium lounge but it's not necessary, there's no crowd or any waiting. The process is very simple and systematic, also the staff is kind and helpful. Also, there's parking space available at the VFS premises, at Rs.200 for 2 hrs for 4wheelers.

One of the worst experiences. For minor visa if both parents are accompanying the child then they want one parent to sit outside in cafeteria. When we called on helpline they never ever mentioned about this. Also for minor visa they want parents concern letter on 100 Rs stamp paper and also covering letter. So one understand that both parents are must for the visa appointment. Now worst part is since last three hours their server for biometric is down. My wife is sitting in cafeteria and she wants to use washroom. The rude security guards say that she has to use the public washroom situated outside the building. Highly Unprofessional, Pathetic and rude.

Worst Building Facility I have ever seen. Rude staff, no two wheeler parking. The staff and the Building Manager are unprofessional, rude and worthless people who can spoil your day with their attitude.
