Passport Seva Kendra,Sion.

I visited this passport office at sion which is opp sadhana school in a post office on the 1st floor. Lift is available. My appointment was at 9.45am. I reached at 9.20. I went for renewal and address change. They click pictures there itself. I carried original and zerox of aadhar and passports first and last page. Also carried the appointment letter. DigiLocker aadhar they see on the phone . My work was done in 15 minutes. Very efficient staff. Now will see how many days it takes for my passport to arrive. I have attached the picture of the information they had pasted on the wall there. 1 st Update: My police verification was done on the 3 rd day after submission. So far so good. I have attached the documents needed for police verification as pasted outside the police station. 2nd Update: I received my passport after 25 days. Before 10 years i had received it in 11 days. My son had applied with me. He hasn't received it yet. So proper 1 month is needed to get the passport. They send by speed post and it can be tracked.

Contrary to the negative reviews here (not invalidating them at all -- just sharing my perspective), I had a great, swift, and smooth experience at this POPSK. I'm glad I didn't change the appointment location to Lower Parel on reading the reviews. Firstly, the POPSK is located very close to Sion-based landmarks such as Sion railway station, Gurukripa restaurant, and SIES College. You can reach by cab directly or take a rickshaw, get down at Cafe Vrindavan (opposite Sion station), and walk to its left. It's barely two minutes from there. Lots of Xerox shops nearby, so no need to worry about getting last-minute copies. There's an elevator at the POPSK, besides a staircase, so it's great for those with limited mobility (the office is on the first floor). To expedite the process, ensure you bring originals and copies of your documents (for renewals, your old passport, Aadhaar card, and, in case you're married, your marriage certificate are enough) and upload digital copies of your Aadhaar card, etc., on the DigiLocker app. The staff I encountered was extremely patient, kind, swift, polite, well-behaved, and helpful, so if you forget anything, they'll guide you accordingly. The process has become so simplified that I was out in 50 minutes. (I reached there nearly 1.5 hours before my appointment time, and after some shopping nearby following the procedure completion, I was taking a cab back to my parents' house at my printed appointment time!) If your appointment time allows, try to go as early in the morning as possible once the POPSK opens to avoid the post-11 a.m. crowds. Although it's said they follow the appointment system, it looked like first-come-first-served to me, as my process wasn't stalled for an applicant with an earlier appointment time. The place is clean. There are separate washrooms for ladies and gents. The ladies' washroom, despite being almost clean, needs some maintenance. Carry paper soaps and/or sanitisers. Ample, comfortable seating available. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience at this POPSK, and I would recommend it to anyone wondering whether to book their passport appointment here.

Reach by 9:15am irrespective of ur slot. Most important is to keep documents ready. Original and Xerox. You should be done within 1 hr.

Very very bad. Please go to any other passport seva kendra..this is more like a postoffice...and they have less staff and they make you wait for two hours minimum for passport verification work just because it was close to my house..I came here but it wasn't worth the wait . On a working day they make people wait endlessly with no respect for time

7 to 8 min walkable from sion station. Having lift and stairs facilities. Working staff is good and helpful. Bring all the required documents for smooth process of passport application. Place is clean and ventilation is good.
