5 stars! Exceptional service that's worth every penny! Yes, it's more expensive than other tours, but it's worth every cent. Response time is lightning-fast. The day before the tour, I injured my foot and couldn't walk without crutches. They called me immediately and arranged for someone to meet us on the island ahead of time to assist.The boat is comfortable, fast, and it's a semi-private tour--we were just 7 people total. On the other hand, they start before that anyone arrives, avoiding overcrowded and creating an authentic and quiet atmosphere. The guide was exceptional, explaining every detail and ensuring I was comfortable throughout. The organization was flawless. Our tour guide, Nilufer, provided a detailed and interesting tour of the city.
Nilufer was also our guide on two further excursions,
- Matheran Excursion which took us to a hill station in the countryside outside Mumbai centre.
- Bespoke Mumbai food tour, encompassing four very different authentic Indian restaurants.
Nilufer was an excellent guide who also made us feel comfortable and secure in a new environment.
The final tour was Bollywood Studio Tour. Our guide, Jaya, was very knowledgeable and provided a comfortable and close-up tour of the studio. Including watching live filming of a weekly soap.

We really enjoyed our guided visit to Elephanta Island by speedboat transfer. Arriving at Elephanta in the early morning before the crowds and the heat made a big difference and allowed us to appreciate the caves at a more leisurely pace. Our guide Avinash was professional, friendly, and extremely informative, taking his time to answer any questions and explain all the details of the intricate carvings. The ice cold water and face towels at the end were a very refreshing treat! I highly recommend booking the Elephanta excursion with Passport Lifestyles!
