AVOID or Reschedule appointment, if ur used to Private functioning eg TCS work. Here are 1-2 Govt employees working with bare minimum setup. They are trying their best, with limited resources. Also it's an open space so if it's summers or Rain then you are done. Time printed on your appointment has no meaning. It will take min 2-3 hrs(No fault of the people working there). AVOID AVOID AVOID. Praise for the front desk women(Geeta?) is working hard and is humble enough to help all.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a government office. I went in for a simple passport renewal, and it turned into a complete nightmare. First off, the appointment system is a joke. Despite booking a time slot, I had to wait for over 3 hours in a cramped, overcrowded waiting room with zero communication from the staff. There was no proper queue management, and people were cutting in line without any consequences. The staff didn't seem to care -- they were rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping. Avoid this office if you can. If you have no choice, prepare for a long, frustrating, and exhausting ordeal.

Do not receive MOBILE OTPs despite trying in the middle of the night. Receiving mobile OTP extremely late after considerable delay, our login expires and we have to use resend OTP & that too never arrives or arrives too late and has expired since unable to login with message displayed: PASSWORD DORS NOT MATCH. Then the website says you have exceeded the attempts, RESEND for OTP! Finally, after couple of such unsuccessful attempts the website advises me to try later and refuses further login attempts! This CHAKRAVYU is endless. However email OTP arrives swiftly but on it's own is useless without the Mobile OTP since both have to be inserted simultaneously. Unable to see PROFILE page to check/modify MOBILE NUMBER. The useless chat-bot cannot even direct me to the PROFILE page. The useless CHAT-BOT icon figure also conceals the OTP fields and obstructs viewing the OTP. Why don't you guys fix these issues immediately?

Horrible experience! I took my 6months old for Passport Despite being the rule PRIORITY SERVICE FOR NEW BORN IT TOOK US 3.5HOURS THAT TO AFTER FIGHTING WITH THEM SHOWING THEM TWEET & RULES ON WEBSITE They didn't gave me token & made me wait for so long They weren't sure with the process They were busy chit chatting & made me & senior citizen wait for hours DO NOT schedule an appointment here. Go Popsk Sion,Malad. No water, no washrooms, not enough waiting seating. Only 1 system was working. They were so slow that it was taking 30-40minutes per person but they give 3 appointments per 5-10 minutes time slots! The people verifying the documents were giving different requirements, which were different from what's mentioned on the website. All the staff also decided to take a lunch break together, not even rotationally, despite the LONG queue and frustrated people outside Place is also old, no air conditioning. Weren't allowed to speak to eachother. My 6 month old got cranky waiting for so long & because of heat too so they asked us to go out because he was crying Bloody they just had to take his thumb impression & for this we waited 3.5hours DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE Attaching image of them gossiping & NOT WORKING IN WORKING HOURS

One star is also more for these people.. No seats, no bathroom, no drinking water, and system is always slow. Today I'm here with my 10 month old baby. And their dongal is expired. Minimum 5 minors ( below the age of 1 year) and their parents are waiting since 2 hrs and they are waiting for some credentials to come from Delhi in mail and only then they will be able to proceed. In the time of 5G they aren't receiving mail from Delhi since 2hrs. Non sense place to ever come for a passport. I have attached pictures of people waiting in and outside office it's horrible thing that in today's world of services this is how we are expected to wait in a passport office. Inspite of so many infants waiting for things to get done all the staff members took lunch break together rather than eating one after another. Many people waiting outside were not even aware that their documents will get token. People were just waiting like that only.

My suggestion is to avoid this Passport Seva Kendra or any other POPSK (Post Office Passport Seva Kendra) as I have personally experienced their way of working. This POPSK is located inside the Santacruz East Post Office near Santacruz Railway Station. The place is very congested and there is chaos everyday with appontments getting delayed. No Airconditioner, No Xerox Facility, No Drinking Water, No Waiting Area. There are only 2 desks for processing of applications and 1 desk for senior officer. Their work is very slow as it is not privatised. Other PSK are handled by TCS but POPSK are handled by Govt Officers.

I was a little apprehensive seeing the reviews ,but I should say I am pleasantly surprised by the efficiency and staff behaviour.It was very good .The madam at the front desk was very much helpful.The only major disadvantage was no proper washroom facility (a basic one )which could improve and the waiting place could be better maintained (more chairs for sitting).But otherwise it was a good experience. There Is a photocopy Center near by for any document we need to submit the only thing is we need to have original with us.

I went there for a fresh passport issue. Had an appointment at 11 am, reached at 9:30 am. Completed all the process by 10 am. Everything done smoothly. I didn't expect to be so quick.
