India Post + Passport Seva Kendra

I was paranoid because of the previous reviews. However being a fresh applicant, i faced no issues. Just one advice, go early in the morning, preferably a good time before your scheduled time and get your documents in line. Rest process is smooth. Got out in less than 45 minutes.

The head passport officer who is currently posted there is extremely rude and least cooperative had to visit 5 times because of his negligence His attitude is like he owns the world and everyone is below him. The most inhumane person i have ever witnessed.

Visited today POPSK Santacruz East for renewal of my passport along with my wife. Everything was smooth and in time. All staff available were cooperative and giving service with smile. Special thanks to Ms Geeta who first verified the documents and guided us for submission of all proper documents. Thumbs to entire staff present there.

very pathetic staff and the staff takes bribe. They somehow tries to reject application and ask for unnecessary documents. when you come out of office they have their agents standing and will ask what is the problem and get the work done after taking money. I have informed anticorruption department and submitted the recording of the same.

Yes, the place is small, however, if you go on ur given time and with proper documentation, things go much smoother. The staff though were not provided even with basic facilities like proper ventilation, tea/coffee, yet they were doing their job quite professionally. The lady at the reception also guided well and helped throughout the entire process.

Very RUDE, NON-COOPERATIVEL UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF. They are not at all the face of government. Their sole objective is to discourage and INSULT PEOPLE. They all should be grilled and drilled by their respective department. They take salary to serve the people and not to harrass and insult them.There are almost only bad reviews given to this centre but the Govt seems to ignore people's voice. In that case change the name to paasportt asuvidhaa keNdr saaNtaakruujh iistt muNbii.

Serious Concern: Need for Better Staff Conduct at Santacruz East Post Office I recently visited the Santacruz East Post Office on 3rd May 2025 at 9:40 AM and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I was shocked by the rude and abusive behavior of the staff on duty, who not only refused to assist me properly but also used offensive language during a routine service interaction. Such conduct is completely unacceptable in a public service institution. Citizens expect courtesy, professionalism, and basic respect when dealing with government offices. This incident left me frustrated and disrespected. I have formally submitted a complaint through India Post's official channels and sincerely hope the higher authorities take immediate and appropriate action. I genuinely believe India Post can do better, and I hope future visitors will experience improved service standards at this location. Constructive Feedback: Please train staff on customer handling and basic communication. Respect goes a long way in building public trust.

Never ever Visit this place for initiating any work related to passport. This centre is handled by pathetically slow people, you may have to give 2 3 months to recieve your passport.
