I was little confused after reading about the reviews here. But for me before 10 Years and now applied for reissue of passport both was good experience. All of the employees i interact was polite and gentle. They provide service i think they know clearly that they are employed there, not owned the office. For me that's good experience from staff.. And they have photostat/Xerox inside the office, so you don't need to worry.. Do keep whatever legal identity documents you have, because you may need any of them according to the situation. I waited 15 - 20 minute including all three sections.. A Section have mlre staff,, B section is less,, and C Section only 3 staff.. That's the only reason i didn't give 5 star. They should keep more staff to avoid rush in the last section..

Visited today. Entry was well-organized and strictly as per the given time. Staff were friendly and clearly guided each step. There's an in-house photocopy counter (2 per page when I visited). No UPI payment seen. Overall clean, token-based, quick, and no unnecessary delays.

The lady in the C counter was very arrogant - a typical central government officer. She was giving replies in a mocking manner. Most of the other staff were good. Always carry all your documents - birth certificate, tenth, plus two, aadhar card, pan card, bank pass book etc. Don't leave any documents even if you have not used them while applying. Otherwise they will ask for many certificates and if you don't have them, you will have to visit again.

Went there to renew my passport. Faster procedures and less time consuming. The staff were very efficient, especially the young bloods. My reporting time was 3:45pm and appointment time was 4:00pm.I went there at 3:33 and left the premises at 4:00 pm. They only took fifteen to twenty minutes to renew my passport. Awesome experience.

Cons: 1) There needs to be more seating available for applicants. 2) Cooling facilities and drinking water were inadequate which made the wait uncomfortable outside the office. 3) The crowd management could be handled better. If entry is strictly 15 minutes before the appointment then people should be guided in stages rather than all at once. 4) The document requirements are not clearly explained for different types of applications. If the website cannot be updated then at least a simple pamphlet should be provided. I had to get an e Aadhaar only after reaching the office which could have been avoided. 5) IMPORTANT: At the photo counter in the second stall the person with glasses and a beard rushed through my application. Date was 30-09-2025. He started typing before I even sat down and did not ask me to verify the details. I had to double check later at the next counter which should not happen. 6) Staff should be given training on empathy politeness and a better understanding of the passport process so they can guide people more effectively. Pros: On the positive side the Tatkaal process was very quick and I was done in just one and a half hours.

"Warning: Mixed experience at PSK Trivandrum for passport renewal! The initial process was smooth and efficient, thanks to the friendly and quick staff at reception, counter A, and counter B. The security staff was also very helpful and got me in at time. However, the Granting Zone (Counter C) was a nightmare. Waited over an hour with no seats, and only 2 counters were functioning. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and the crowd was chaotic. Kudos to the staff who handled counter A and B efficiently, but more staff and counters are needed at C to manage the load. Hope the authorities take note and improve the process. Don't punish the customers who chooses PSK. Counter A and B staff are sitting idly. During the rush hours you can utilise them to manage the crowd and smooth function. Train the staff for multi-task. Regards

Passport Seva Kendra - Trivandrum (PSK) is located at Ground Floor of Carmel Towers, Opposite Cotton Hill Girls High School, Vazhuthacaud. Process for taking Fresh Passport : - Must be at the Entrance Counter (Stop for Security Check) at Reporting Time with needed documents & its copies) - You get a slip at the Entrance Counter with a Counter Number, Enter the Passport Seva Kendra & Fill the Slip. - After filling the slip head towards the counter number (written on slip) with Original Documents. - After initial verification, You will be given a token No, with that token number (displayed on LCD TV) you should go to the Counter A, Counter B & Counter C - In Counter A : The staff will verify documents, scan and upload documents & take Photograph & biometrics. - Need to go to Counter B for next step verification with the Online Appointment Receipt, Application Form, Copies & Original Documents. - Then to Counter C for final Check & once confirmed you will get an email for approval (within 15 minutes) - Next step is police clearance, after that you will get your Passport via Indiapost. Other passport services are also held here. - If you want to take photostats of documents, it is available inside PSK (2/copy) - I had a good service from the staff.

Passport seva kendra located in ground floor of the Carmel Tower. Fast and smooth services. Good and helpful staff. Car parking is also available at 20. Number of chairs in the waiting area are less than what is required.
