Post Office, Jayalakshmipuram

Have been using this post office for the past 7 years. The staff are really good, considering they are govt employees. Had a few hiccups here and there but nothing a few extra visits couldn't solve. They promptly closed all our savings accounts and we were done with it. But as the post office bank is considered, they are the worst! Everything is outdated, everything requires physical presence, paperworks, i was eagerly waiting for our FDs to mature so i could close and never ever look back. Indian post office bank is for those who don't mind the lack of technological advancements. But as far as this branch is concerned, the staff were really great. Not HDFC level helpful but way better than other govt offices. Thanks!

My personal experience is fantastic and staff are very courteous and being a very senior citizen I get all required help with respect.

No change for 500. My total was 41 rs. Luckily I have 40 rs but lack of 1 ruppes. That girl said go n bring 1 ruppe change out of 500 rs wheras no shops around that area..

Bad response from staff. Learn soft skills before you talk to anyone. Unprofessional. Keep the attitude with yourself, you're not going anywhere with this attitude.

Small room like post office. Not even visible from the road nearby. Google messed navigation to here, were fed up. The people here speak regional languages by default. English would be spoken too if you express the need.

Package reached the post office 42 hours back. Still not reached the recipient in Mysore. Getting diverted here and there because apparently some people are stupid enough and not able to read the address or contact the recipient's mobile. Pathetic!
