The service is good here. It's a little strict in matters of batch number, documents and to be present at the time given. It's helpful for mysuru people to apply for passport.

My experience in passport verification Obviously this is a government office, we know how it works, delayed work,one cares the customers, i knew this so My verification was at 11.30Am, i don't wanted to apply leave in my office for this verification, so i visited the office previous day and requested receptionist uncle that my appointment at 11.30Am and it will be late for my office, can i come early at 9 Am ,he humbly said if there are no people, then i will allow you, he said, so the office opens at 9 am, i have been there by 8:50 talked with him that yesterday i came and enquired with you , he rememberd me , obviously at 8:50 there were no other people, over there, and guess what i am the first person,he submitted my documents to the next counter at 9 am itself, first counter took me around 5 min, just to cross check my details and the time for the officer to enter my details and next counter took 1 min, for the officer to cross check my documents, and i am done, i got an sms and acknowledgment via mail and sms. It's a gov office, for delaying owr work- just getting angry on them and writing a bad review, will get us nothing, that would have costed me a one day leave, so we should plan accordingly.

The staff at the passport verification office needs to improve their communication. They call out names, but the applicants can hardly hear them, leading to confusion and delays. A better announcement system or a display board would make the process smoother. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. Hope they improve this soon!"

Good office Well maintained. But the staff still don't know which all documents can be submitted they are adamant on getting aadhar card and sslc marks sheet, when we can provide other documents... You can't talk to them... they just chase you away saying they need what they ask for For example for my spouse passport as adress proof I gave my passport but they denied and asked for aadhar.... Really pathetic staff

Had to visit here to renew my wife's passport. First and foremost I didn't find a front desk for any queries or help. Waited for a while to know that they will call the name of the applicant as per the appointment scheduled. But the problem we faced was since they call the name of the applicant from inside the room it was not audible. A lot of people were talking louder and some were on phones which made it impossible to hear when the authorities called out the names. At least they should be announcing through Mike or there should be a token system. The staff were cooperative. Rather than this I couldn't find any other problems.

I think it's the best govt offices that I visited. Because here all the staff & including security are so friendly & responsive about their work. Somewhat all our govt offices should be like this I can say.

We had pleasant experience from the Maddur passport office. It's completely empty and reception staff was so friendly and explained us the process wisely. If anyone trying to find difficulty to get an appointment in Bangalore, here you go

There is a lot of space for improvement. The tokens can be displayed for people to understand their turns. Else, manage with a small speaker to make the authorities convenient to call out the names. At the end of the day it is the Passport Service - an important for any individual.
