Foreigners Regional Registration Office

Day: Tuesday Time: 11 am Came here for the FTI TTP biometrics. No reservations needed, just your passport. Whole process takes 5-10 mins. Approval post this process, get completed within 7 days. Person at the desk was very professional and polite.

FTI-TTP I had visited this office 2 times now, 1 minute Easy process to submit biometrics. Please carry or login to keep ready the QR Code and details, and carry ORIGINAL PASSPORT. make sure you fill forms correctly, specially the ( given name ) should be same on passport or you have a direct chance to get REJECTED by the BOI. The staff is polite yet Very nice. Go at 9.45am and stay in the waiting hall.

Fantastic staff at the FRRO. Very helpful and understanding. I had gone to apply for OCI for my wife and son. Mid way the rules had changed and we had to get some extra documentation done. This wasn't the staffs problem as the govt had made the rule changes. However the staff were empathetic and went out of their way in advising and helping us to get things done which saved us a lot of time and stress. We will be ever so grateful. Thank you so much and yes OCI cards were received on time.

FTI TTP Process : Read Carefully 1. Total time taken= 5 mins wait + 1min for fingerprints *2. Total under 10mins 2. Parking struggle: we parked 2W Inside the building parking which was designated for employees I guess, but it's was relatively free. Don't think bringing 4W is advisable. 3.Location: building attached to A2B, separate entrance - 5th floor (lift available) 4 Timing: Be aware of lunch time for the lady 1.30 to 2.30 (seriously note this I will add the funny incident happened with us) 5. No documents asked : just carry passports. Though we carried adhar, PAN, & DL. 6. No appointment needed, walk in with your QR code (online application) 16.1.26 7. Funny incident : we reached at 1:20, me & my wife were the last 2 before lunch & security was asked to halt any new applicant. You me & any rational person would think to finish up 2 applicants (less than 2mins) and go for 55mins lunch break. Not this lady... My fingerprints were done and she asked the last person (my wife) to wait for an hour. When I mentioned we are together, she was hungry repeatedly visualizing her lunch every second. My wife tried punching finger print (last step <20seconds pending) - machine was not reading prints for first 2 attempts imagine taping your cards and getting failed. She was so hungry that she asked if finger print don't register now wait for an hour....like 5 seconds of work left and she is okay to make 2 people wait for an hour because she want to have lunch...1.32pm was way outside her acceptable time . Luckily we were done in next 5seconds. Go before 1 or wait for her lunch. Otherwise polite and straight forward....no Messy, seamless, no long queues.

I have nothing but praise for this FRRO branch. I will be going over my 90days permitted stay soon due to a medical emergency and had to apply for exit permit. I had questions so I went to the office and got quickly referred to an officer in service desk O. He gave suggestions on what I should do and I filed for exit permit in the website. During my application, I have made some mistakes and promptly emailed them for clarification on my end. They immediately responded and corrected my application within the day. I was able to process and got my permit approved after just a day (went in 11AM Thursday, permit granted Friday afternoon). I suggest you go to their office directly as their telephone lines are unreachable. You may also contact them through their email posted here by someone. Don't wait till you are in the illegal side (overstayed) before processing as it will make it harder for you. Thanks to all that helped me and the resposiveness of the team.

Received an excellent support from FRRO officers Mr.V, Mr.P and Miss.M for urgent travel documentation. Despite very tight timeliness they were very supportive and helped to expedite my request, including working on a Saturday! Many thanks to them and leadership team at this department. Keep up you great work. A feedback for the organisation to further enhance their great service - please bring in some more clarity and simplification in fee structure for various services you provide. Having fee details in the e-frro portal will help a great deal in this regards.

I visited FRRO, Bengaluru on 26th February 2026 for my biometric enrollment for Fast track Immigration. I went in the around 10.15 AM. There were just two people before me. My biometrics were done within 15 minutes. The staff was very courteous. My experience was very good!

Visited Frro on 4 December syeeda madam who was on the front desk was very polite and answered all our query.... Then we went to oci section and Mr Anil sir was very helpful and also gave us the right channel.... Thank you Anil sir and syeeda madam people like these have taken Frro to a new experience... keep up the great work.... Thank you again
