Carmelaram Sub Post Office

My first and only experience at this post office related to one speed post was good. Somehow by mistake the speed post was marked as delivered even though it wasn't. I went to the post office and the people there were helpful, specially the guy Puneeth who helped me find the missing post in minutes.

Extremely, painstakingly slow. Only one counter operational. Better to come during mornings rather than early afternoons. Car parking is an issue - you can park at the Style showroom. Bike parking available.

They didn't receive our call. They don't deliver our parcel at our correct location (home). I missed one of my special parcel. Her lady staff is very bad behaviour.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff at Carmelaram Post Office I had a very unpleasant experience at the Carmelaram Post Office recently. One of the staff members (the person in the attached photo) was extremely rude and disrespectful not only to me and my friend, but also to other people waiting in line. We were quiet and polite, yet he started scolding us in a harsh tone, as if he was reprimanding students. When we handed him a paid post, he rudely commented that it wasn't glued properly and questioned what we were doing while standing in the queue. There was absolutely no courtesy or professionalism in his behavior. It was quite disappointing to see such an attitude from a public servant who is supposed to assist citizens. Everyone there seemed uncomfortable because of his shouting and rudeness. Such behavior is unacceptable in a government office. We will also be filing an official complaint regarding this incident through the government grievance portal so that proper action can be taken.

Absolute garbage, staff is the worst. They are so rude, they won't even talk properly. Idk when government will take strict action on such useless people and suspend them from their jobs and install sensible ones to do the job properly but their trash attitude and dishonesty is causing problems to the masses. Discouraging people from relying on the Indian Postal system.

One of the very worst post office I have ever seen, I went there to withdraw some amount which i invested in PO and they are saying , i cant withdraw the amount and need to go to that PO branch where i deposited. If they cant deliver proper service, better to close it .

Pathetic service and bunch of irresponsible staff! Went for activating simple IPPB, they made me visit the post office twice and would only give excuses come next day as server is not working. The supervisor here is equally useless instead of listening tells you to go to the other post office to fix it.

They don't sell cover to post. Take your own Timing is 8:30 to 2:30 Post that, they will not accept any courier.
