We recently booked a 6 Nights / 7 Days trip with Shayona Tours and Travels covering Kasol (1N), Manali (3N), and Shimla (2N) from Chandigarh to Chandigarh, and it was truly an amazing experience. Everything was perfectly planned and managed from start to finish. The hotels provided in Kasol, Manali, and Shimla were comfortable, clean, and located at great spots. The itinerary was well-balanced, giving us enough time to explore and relax. The team was always available for support and ensured our trip was smooth and stress-free. Overall, it was a memorable vacation, and we highly recommend Shayona Tours and Travels for anyone planning a Himachal trip.

Our Himachal trip of 7 nights and 8 days was an incredible experience, filled with memorable moments across beautiful destinations. Highlights included witnessing snowfall in Shimla and the serene darshan at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Driver: Our driver was well-versed with the routes, and despite minor challenges in locating some hotels and the language barrier (he spoke only Hindi and Punjabi), communication wasn't an issue as I could converse in both. However, he mentioned not receiving the itinerary or hotel details beforehand. Hotels & Destinations: Shimla (Kamna Hill Resort): The hotel was excellent, with great facilities, effective heating, and delicious food. Shimla town was delightful, but arriving after an overnight flight and long drive left us exhausted. An extra day here would have allowed us to explore more leisurely. Kufri, however, did not meet our expectations. Manali (Abhilashi Residency & Spa): The hotel boasted stunning views, but limited heating (only available from 6 PM to 8 AM) made it difficult to relax in freezing temperatures. The dining hall also lacked heating, affecting the overall comfort. Nonetheless, the food was delicious, and Solang Valley was well worth the visit. Dharamshala (AK Continental): The hotel fell short of a 3-star standard, with inadequate heating in both rooms and dining areas. We rented a portable heater, but such provisions should have been standard. Hot water availability was also limited, requiring long wait times between baths. Despite these issues, the food was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. The cricket stadium and monastery were highlights, but an extra day here would have allowed for a more relaxed exploration. Dalhousie (Hotel ARK): Similar to Dharamshala, the lack of heating and limited hot water availability impacted our stay. Renting a portable heater was again necessary. The food was enjoyable, and Khajjiar and Durga Temple were pleasant to visit. However, one day in Dalhousie would have sufficed. Amritsar (Dara Royale): The hotel was comfortable, with excellent food and attentive service, though slightly out of town. Noise from a party didn't detract from our experience. Visiting Jallianwala Bagh and the Golden Temple was deeply moving. Unfortunately, we missed the Wagah Border ceremony due to time constraints and traffic delays. An additional day in Amritsar would have allowed for a more fulfilling experience. Final Thoughts: Across colder destinations like Manali, Dharamshala, and Dalhousie, the lack of adequate heating in rooms and dining areas was a recurring concern, affecting overall comfort. However, the hotels consistently impressed us with their delicious meals and efforts to meet our dietary preferences. This feedback is offered constructively for future improvements and should not overshadow the wonderful experience we had.
