It's best to be prepared for this restriction in advance. The premises are clean and well-maintained. The process inside is calm, systematic, and efficient. If you follow the given steps and stick to your appointment time, things generally move smoothly. Additionally, there are several nearby places for food and beverages, making it convenient if you have to wait or are accompanying someone.

Staff is inconsiderate of the idea of wasting people's time and the big old woman at the APO office is very rude and has no courtesy. I had to visit for a second appointment, since the staff misguided with the procedure during first appointment on 6th of july, I had forgotten my marksheet, still the staff consoled me with fake assurance that I could anytime visit the office again to submit those documents and should continue with my process at the moment although that was not the case. I was kept waiting for 2 hours straight in the line only to know that the process can't go any further since I have a missing document, the woman at APO office will not even care to listen. Infact she was very loud and unreasonable. All she did was call me in the room shout at me that I forgot my marksheet, and declared another date when I will have to visit again to continue the process. If only they had informed me before I could have not wasted my time, took another date and visited then. People working at passport seva kendra are fairly salaried and they are there to help people and under no circumstances shall shouting at citizens, and suppressing them with the protocol is accepted, as if they have committed a crime and are being treated like a guilty by an inspector For my second visit I was called 8:45 in the morning and surprise! The staff had not arrived till 9 or even 9:30 only one or two employess were present while the appointment was given to 15-20 people in second and third stage. It took 1 complete hour only to submit a mere document because of lesser employees available. I was compelled to write this review because of unapologetic behavior of the woman at APO office on my first visit. Only if the two women at APO office knew better of how to talk with people I would have not ended with such unforgettable bad experience.

Obtaining a fresh passport can be quite time-consuming. The authorities require several documents, including the birth certificate, driving license, school LC, and mark sheet. Although the parking facility is limited, the staff are generally competent, albeit occasionally appearing irritated due to the high volume of applicants. Additionally, there is a Xerox facility available on-site, with a charge of 2 rupees per page. Applicants are requested to sign their Xeroxed documents. There are five counters available at the Seva Kendra for token issuance, with specific counters designated for different types of passport applications: 3 Counter for normal passport (fresh and reissue), 1 Counter for tatkal passport (fresh and reissue), and 1 Counter for minor passport applications (for individuals below 18 years of age). Upon reaching the ground floor, all documents are thoroughly checked. Applicants are advised to bring all necessary documents, regardless of what they have been specifically asked for. For non-ECR (education above 10th grade), LC and mark sheet are requested. After receiving a token, applicants proceed to the second floor and wait for their number to be displayed on TV screens. During this time, it is not uncommon for delays to occur, such as when an applicant makes mistakes in their date of birth proof, resulting in a waste of around 15 minutes. The passport application process involves three main counters: Counter A, where applicants have their photo taken, sign documents, and submit their feedback form; Counter B, where verification questions regarding address and name details are asked. Counter C, overseen by senior officers who verify document details without posing additional questions, concluding with a signature on the application. Finally, after completing the process, applicants exit . The facility and may experience challenges in locating their vehicles due to parking issues managed by the municipal corporation.

Just useless system of treating people especially the accompanions very rudely waiting without water, washrooms and shelter out side in red hot summer of ahmedabad. They need to learn empathy apart from collecting money.

Visited today for passport renewal. Good experience for process and guidance of all persons during the process. Mains 2 problems are parking and seating arrangement inside. No parking or only 20% of required parling space for visitors. Visitors need to manage it hardly to get parking at nearby places. Seating arrangement during the process from A to B and B to C inside is too low. Waiting time of turn as per token is longer and hardly 40% people can sit on benches arranged in Waiting section. 60% persons must remains standing up that's should be improved.

Worst managed place. Counter A & B are well managed because of highest no of counters. The problem is in C counter. No place for seating and too slow people are managing. Hence can't control the crowd.

I had a smooth and hassle-free experience at the passport office. The staff was professional, cooperative, and the overall process was well-organized. My appointment started on time, and each counter was handled efficiently. One important tip for anyone visiting: Make sure to carry xerox (photocopy) of all your documents, and most importantly, bring a color printout of your full e-Aadhaar card

The service is smooth and staff is soft-spoken. Inside the office, sufficient place to sit. But...Just remember, waiting outside of the Kendra is a pain as no setting arrangements. Always come with water bottle, sunglass, an umbrella and something to eat if you tend to wait outside.
