Great Visit to Passport Seva Kendra, Bapunagar, Ahmedabad - Fast and Easy! I Highly Recommend It. I just got my passport application done at the Passport Seva Kendra in Bapunagar. It was so smooth and stress-free! The place is very well organized. There are clear signs, screens showing wait times, and quick security checks. From start to finish, it took only 45 minutes - no stress at all! The staff were the best. They are professional, kind, and super helpful. They fixed my document issues right away and helped me with fingerprints and photos easily. Good number of helpful staff, meant no long waits. Their friendly attitude made everything simple. The facilities are great too - comfortable seating, clean toilets and great location. In busy Ahmedabad, this center is a calm and smooth place. Big thanks to the wonderful team

Good parking space, office is located at ground floor; security and PSK staff is supportive and indoor xerox section also available but for relatives they are not allowing any waiting section outdor so they should plan for this because not every relative is young and enough to wait for longer time..!!

HONEST REVIEW -> I was scared to visit this place because the reviews were so bad, it had a rating of 2.9/5. But, here's my honest, unfiltered review. I visited the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) Bapunagar today and the overall process was very smooth. At the reception, they check all your documents carefully and will ask you to get photocopies if anything is missing. My case was: reissue, change in surname, change in address, and addition of spouse name in passport due to marriage. Documents I needed: 1. Original passport with photocopy of every page, including the very first page with the Satyamev Jayate/State Emblem of India. 2. Marriage certificate (original + photocopy). 3. Aadhaar card (digitally verified green tick; colour print recommended). 4. Education proof (10th/12th/graduation - any one). This was asked at Counter B because my previous passport's place of issue was outside India. I didn't have the originals but carried colour photocopies and also showed them on DigiLocker. It's better to carry original certificates. If your place of issue is within India, this may not be needed. Extra documents I carried (and recommend you carry - Original & Xerox of same - B&W xerox works too): - Bank passbook (first ID page and last transaction page; transaction should be within 3 months) - Voter ID card - Spouse passport and photocopy (ask him/her to sign & date) - Spouse Aadhaar and PAN - Birth certificate I basically carried every document I had. For anything I didn't have in original, I carried photocopies and kept DigiLocker versions ready to show. It is very important that all your supporting documents match exactly, especially name, address, and date of birth. Even a small discrepancy can lead to your application being put on hold or rejected. Update your Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, and education documents beforehand so all details match. Important reminder: on every photocopy you submit, always sign your name and write the date. Also, the place was very neat & clean. The environment can be rushing, you might feel overwhelmed, but if you have all documents ready, there wont be any issue. Also, dress sharply, you are visiting Passport office of india, we should maintain standards as citizens of our nation.

I would like to formally bring to your notice the unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour experienced by my wife during her visit to Passport Seva Kendra, Bapunagar, Ahmedabad on 13-02-2026 at for minor passport application of our daughter. My wife visited the PSK with all required documents. However, the concerned officer spoke in a disrespectful tone and did not provide proper guidance regarding the required documentation. The interaction caused unnecessary stress, especially considering she was accompanied by our 06 month-old infant. We respect the procedures of the Passport Office and are fully cooperative. However, we request that applicants be treated with basic courtesy and clear guidance. Kindly look into the matter and take appropriate action. We also humbly suggest that regular customer service and behavioural training sessions be conducted for passport office staff to ensure respectful interaction with citizens, especially women and applicants visiting with infants. Today I visited PSK Bapunagar for reissue my passport. I didn't find any nagative as described in the reviews. The staff is very cooperative. If you go with home work done, it's running smoothly. I came out in just 35 mints. Kindly note that 1) there is a two level basement parking. 2) for reissue passport, you require only first two pages and last two pages Xerox copies and not whole passport copies. 3) one proof of address, in case of address change. 4) one proof of Dt of Birth 5) one proof of Non ECR Without this no documents required. Please get ready all copies should be self attested with original, so it will save your time. Photograph also not required.

Hi, I regret to say that there is no proper management at the Bapunagar Passport Office. The staff here is not supportive at all. There is a huge crowd, and no one gives proper answers. The staff has a lot of attitude, especially the APO staff. They speak as if it is their personal office rather than a public passport office.

Today I visited the Passport Office Bapunagar, and my overall experience was wonderful and smooth. The staff was very helpful and guided me properly at every stage of the process. First, they clearly briefed me about the procedure and carefully checked all my documents. As per the document list, you should carry the following original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies: * Birth Certificate * Aadhaar Card * Driving Licence * Marriage Certificate * Old Passport Make sure that all photocopies are self-signed, and it is better to carry colour copies, especially if some documents do not have a digital signature. After reaching the main desk, they verified and shortlisted my documents and asked me to sign the undertaking form. Once this was done, the executive gave me a token number and directed me to the self-checking kiosk. At the kiosk, I entered my ARN number and date of birth. After completing this step, my name was verified digitally, and I was allowed to move to the next stage. Then, I checked the TV screens to track my token number. At Counter A, they took my photograph, verified my original documents, and confirmed the details that would be printed in the passport. Next, I waited for my turn at Counter B, where there was slightly more rush. Here again, they reviewed both original and photocopy documents. Finally, I went to Counter C, where the final verification was completed. The whole process took around 45 minutes, and the system was well organized. One important suggestion is to keep watching the TV screens because all screens show the same information, and you can sit anywhere nearby while waiting. Overall, the staff was polite, the process was efficient, and the experience was very positive.
