Regional Passport Office, Patna

Very poor experience at this Regional Passport Office. There is absolutely no proper management or basic sitting arrangement for applicants. The condition of the building is pathetic, with an unbearable urine smell throughout the premises. My appointment time was 1:45 PM, yet we were made to stand for hours and our turn finally came around 6 PM. Despite such long waiting times, there are no facilities to sit, which is extremely inconvenient, especially for elderly people and families. On top of that, the staff behaviour was rude and unhelpful. Overall, this place lacks basic hygiene, organisation, and customer handling. Authorities seriously need to improve the infrastructure and management.

This is an example of how a government office should function. As an NRI, I visited the passport office for my newborn baby's passport and was truly impressed by the efficiency of the process, adherence to timelines, the politeness of the staff, and their readiness to assist. If a passport office can operate with such professionalism and a strong commitment to public service, there is no reason other government offices cannot do the same. I would be pleased to see this standard of service implemented across all government offices in Bihar and throughout India.

Long waiting time my appointment is at 12:15pm it's 2pm in clock instead I am in queue. There is only one token counter I think if they increase the counter then queue time will definitely decrease

I have visited there for my friend and his reporting time was 10:45 and he entered in that time that's a good thing but they took 1 hour 10 minutes to solve his problem such a bad service by them they are wasting people's time a lot and one last thing please take your all document copies from home because nearby cafes are hazardous bro they charging a digitally signature verified Aadhaar card 100 Rs per copy only looting.

Lot of time required here. Officials knowingly torture applicants. This place reflects why Bihar is too away from growth.

There is no waiting area out side or inside building. People comes from different districts for their queries they need some space for waiting.

My friends passport has been stucked since 6mons, They are waiting reply from ACP Pune, However revert has been already sent out by DG office, still they are not processing passport for no reason.

Staffs very rude they just want you to come again and again, I don't know what they want, how does this even function
