There was one post office person who insisted on collecting an attested photocopy of my aadhar, in lieu of a speed post parcel. I was present in person to collect the parcel from the post office but this man kept insisting for the aadhar. I had no option but to avail the expensive photocopy charge of 3rupees per A4 size paper, from the shop outside the post office. I wish the government would take note of this malpractice.

I am Medical officer of Andrew Yule & Co.(Central govt. U T), visiting all the 3(New Dooars,Choonavootti & Banarhat) Estate Hospitals, besides stationing at Karballa TE, had a very bitter experience today at BANARHAT Post Ofiice,under Jalpaiguri. I went today to deposit money at around 12 noon after visiting New Dooars T.E Hospital, to my utter surprise I was refused to do so in spite of the fact that there was no "Link failure" etc. I was asked to come again at 1pm!! I again have to attend Karballa TE Hospital, obviously it's not possible to come again, not to mention of about such sultry weather,moreover I am now 62 yrs old.!! My question is why this kind of incident happened? notwithstanding I went during their duty hours! Worst thing is to be noted that staffs on duty were gossiping amongst themselves. yours sincerely.

Jalpaiguri head post office situated at the opposite of the FDI school.

I have recently had the worst experience with the post office of jalpaiguri.... Their incompetence is unbelievable... I had made an amendment in my adhar card last month and have not received the new Adhar Card yet. I went to them for an inquiry And stood there for a considerate amount of time, only to see the officer Ignore my problem completely and of course without providing any solution to it
