Contai Head Post Office

Pathetic service by staff. Do not give proper information to senior citizen. With out explaining proper benefits of IPPB service. They have linked savings account to IPPB. As a result it is complete harassment process. No one respond properly . Even staff does not have proper knowledge on this.

All kind of banking , ( like fixed deposit, account opening, check book facility, rtgs imps , etc ) financial and courior services ( nation and international courier service) are available hare . Evan one can get aadhar related services like aadhar correction, phone number updation in aadhar , new aadha , address correction and update etc done hare . Also ganga gal available here.

Contai post office is many years old. It conduts various programs. The place is not so clean. Actually it is the problem of the surroundings. We should seriously pay attention to Clean India, Green India mission. We should revolutionalize our activities and thoughts. It is located almost in the middle of the town which is a good point.

I have went to the contai post office many times. Last time I have visited there to collect the money transfer through mobile. The staff of the office is very friendly and gentle with the people who go there for work. The building & facilities there is also good and the place always stay crowded because of the good service.

Good place overall but being the heart of the town Contai it should be kept clean and the worst part is no traffic system is prevailed in this area.... That especially made me MAD.... If you go here from 9am to 2pm or in evening you will definitely find a huge amount of chaos and traffic and madness among the trespassers..... Pollution such as noise, air, water pollution is a frequent event here..... I want that this place should have some traffic system and stalls and buildings should be built from some distance from the road so that the road can become more wider..... That's my ernest request to the authorities concerned from behalf of the sufferers of this chaotic situation......

It is near town hall,,, open at 10 am and closing at 4pm...New passbook open,RD, Sukanya,RPLI, Registered post available... good service... quick service available... interest of post office is better than bank interest... There is also speed Post available...
