My recent experience at the passport office left me disappointed and hurt. The behaviour of the staff there was not only uncooperative but also extremely rude and disrespectful. Obtaining an important document like a passport can already be a complicated process for a common citizen, and the insensitive attitude of the staff makes the situation even more difficult. When I asked about my problem, the staff neither listened attentively nor provided any assistance. Instead, the tone of his conversation was sarcastic and insulting. This behaviour not only hurts my self-esteem but also reduces people's trust in government offices. To avoid such experiences, staff should be given training in sensitivity and customer service. Staff appointed to serve the public must understand that their behaviour not only affects their personal image but also impacts the credibility of the entire system. Hopefully, such experiences are reduced in the future and respectful behaviour is promoted in offices.
