Passport office Rampur

This is by far the most unprofessional government office I have ever visited. The staff's behaviour was extremely rude -- they don't even know how to talk respectfully to citizens of this country. The washrooms were in such filthy condition that you couldn't even open the gate without feeling nauseous. There was only one broken seat in the waiting area, so forget about sitting comfortably while you wait, think if someone disabled. To make matters worse, the staff unnecessarily ask for printouts that are not even required as per the official process. They clearly have under-the-table arrangements with nearby shops, forcing people to spend extra money and time. Absolutely disgraceful. No respect for the public, no cleanliness, and no professionalism. This place urgently needs a full audit and action against such practices.

This office is located in head postoffice of Rampur, near SBI main branch near nawab gate in olden time. It is at the back side of postoffice. In this year 2023 I have renewed my passport and applied for my wife passport too. The behaviour of staff and handling to people is excellent, we don't have to wait much for getting our work done here. This service in our district save the time of traveling to Bareilly and also it saves the cost of traveling to Bareilly. Overall I have good experience here, I am giving 4 star because this time when I went for my wife passport application it takes much time than comparison to my application.

Worst service, i had my appointment at 12:15pm but i got my turn after 3 pm. And the aged officer is very rude.
