Regional Passport Office, Bareilly

One star so that I can write here. worst Unexpected first time experience for applying minor's passport. even after following government process by filling form C (if single parent is present at the moment for minor passport) PSK don't have right to handle the process, any reason for that ? So we have to visit RPO we checked google map about RPO opening time and it shows office opens from 10:30am to 9:00pm EVERYDAY. everyday ? Kind of surprising right ? so upon visiting office on Tuesday from 100km away. we were informed to visit on next day between 10:30am to 1:30pm. it was frustrating to see family visiting the office in this chilling winter carrying 2 months baby. and yes we also made calls to RPO office to inquire about the status. but literally no response, the don't even care to pick up phone. and it was busy few moments before, we heard it. earlier I thought, passport process is the only government process which runs smoothly without any delay which is indeed true but office people lacking moral sense will be forever.

RPO Mr Shailendra Singh ji is really helpful. He helped me in reissuing my lost passport. Other staff members are also supportive but they need traning in poeple management.

Pathetic experience, don't come here for your passport. Visited here with my father for his passport. - No token system, nothing just unorganized lines with chaos - The passport officer here has a hobby to ask for a photocopy of everything, whether it is a digilocker locker verified document already uploading. - He asked me to get the printout of the application receipt which is not required as per passport website and PSKs dont ask for it. Looks like they have some commission fixed with the photocopy and printout guys. - There is no management, the officer goes on lunch for 2-3 hrs asking the people to just wait. - None of the TVs for display were working. Moreover there were no ACs, only a couple of coolers.

My police report is done on 2/01/2026 but they are not fast like my flight is on 22/01/2026 and still not received any mail or sms very poor service

Pathetic experience. If they don't follow appointment time then why waste someone's valuable time. i was given time of reporting at 10:15 am but people has already queued up and it took be 3 hours for my appointment. i lost my valuable time and money. very poor service to citizens.

Very bad experience my sister mentally disturbed after attempting application for police verification again and again we went there 6 times just for a little work they are not taking it seriously. And today am going again. Both person's sitting in 2nd floor and I request them and summited all documents with appointment but till now they didn't sent the application to police station very irresponsible staff. But there is one sir who is sitting in 5th number room he is really a helpful person.

I Had applied for renewal of my passport through Shahjahanpur PSK. Bareilly passport office sought a clarification regarding name of my mother in the Letter issued by my office. My office give a clarification and issue me a fresh NOC as desired by the passport office. Still I am waiting for issuance of my passport till date and passport office didn't reply of my grievance generated online. So, I decided to visit this office today and till now I am waiting outside of the office...

I face just opposite to the reviews given by users. My mother's passport was stuck due to date of birth issue, so I have taken the RPO appointment at bareilly where I met Mr Mithun and he guided me very well & support with the options available as per the law. And he taken us to RPO bareilly Mr Shailender Singh , and he is a great man who has taken the case on humanitarian ground and guided us accordingly. Now within a week time I got my mother's passport. Special thanks to RPO Bareilly Mr Shailender Singh & Mr Mithun. My mother (Husna Ara ,from chandausi) really wish them best in life.
