Passport Seva Kendra, Jodhpur

The process at Jodhpur Passport Seva Kendra is a bit lengthy with four stages, but the staff is cooperative and the overall experience is smooth. The guard was polite and kind, which created a welcoming atmosphere. However, the cleanliness of the toilet needs improvement.

I went to PSK Jodhpur for renewal of passport on my appointment date with all docs with best of my knowledge. Though the appt time was 1030-1045h but no-one follows that in psk, everybody gets around the same time but its kind of first come first serve. Then you have to go through 4 stages: Reception, A,B,C series counters. At reception they check your documents and if something is missing, in my case i forgot marriage certificate xerox, as i was not aware of it as my marital status changed from single to married in new passport. But i was told that wont be an issue just show in the phone in next subsequent stages on counter. At A series they did all scanning of docs, photograph,fingerprints and all and mentioned in remarks that marriage certificate not available but said wont be an issue just show the photo. Upto A series time taken is very less 10-15 min. But now for 3rd stage, you wait for at-least an hour or two and when my turn came that guy said that marriage certificate is missing but jus show on the phone on last counter. So at final 4th stage, that guy did not agree and told me to take a new appointment date. Even i told him everything what jus happened. So basically, plz do carry all docs and if something is missing, then arrange it at reception only, otherwise you will waste time and get a nee date only. So i reported in next appointment date after 15 days and had to go through entire process again. So basically pathetic management and yes the staff is very rude. They were better to me as they knew i am an air force officer but in general they are impolite.

The staff is very helpful and courteous. There is a photocopy booth available inside the premises, that takes care of any urgent needs. At each step, the entire staff, right from the officials to security guards, will guide you very well. Tip: To ensure the process is seamless, carry two attested photocopies of all documents and if carrying Aadhaar, carry the long-format PVC version (they may not accept small cards or the small laminated cuts). Pre-sharing through digital-locker also helps save time. Ensure there are no spelling differences between two documents.

I am extremely disappointed with the pathetic level of customer service and the failure to follow standard guidelines. My passport renewal request was rejected due to a minor typo in my father's name on my PAN card. Despite my current passport still being valid for another 11 months, it was punched, leaving me unable to travel. To make matters worse, no new passport has been issued yet. Additionally, although I uploaded all required documents through DigiLocker, I was still asked to present the originals, which contradicts the stated digital verification process.

Seriously ye "Seva Kendra" hi hai, the place is well kept and managed, the staff is strict and they know what they are doing. Tip: For the persons accompanying someone to the office, -be patient and sit outside where you don't have any basic amenities water, toilet, fan, chair nothing -so better drop them and go finish off your work in that area if u have any -bring water, and empty your tanks

The process for Passport is quite easy. The employees are very cooperative. The ambience is neat, clean and quiet. The security is upto the mark. Washrooms available. They have phone charging station. Waiting areas are spacious. overall good experience.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. No crowd management at all. Only applicants were allowed in the waiting area -- others had to wait outside in 44degC heat with no shade or seating. They make people wait for hours. No empathy or courtesy from the staff. Completely mismanaged.

All staff members very good coparate all citizens and office was very clean and very large.sitting area was very big.
