Great experience. Quick service, but depending upon rush may take up to 1 hour for the complete process. You need to carry coloured copy of VERIFIED e-Aadhar card. They will deny to entertain if the e Aadhar card is not VERIFIED. If the documents are complete then it will not take much time for the complete process. Great facility in Patiala City. The only drawback is appointment schedule is too long.

0 star. Every second passport of this centre is raised objected at RPO. They submit forms without any check. And many times there are biometric issue. Which need to be satisfied at RPO Chandigarh Total Harrasment

I visited this office on 17.07.2025 to get a new Aadhaar card made for my child. The lady sitting there misguided me completely. According to her, I had to first go to a nearby Cyber cafe, book an appointment, and then come back after one month. Later, I found out that this was completely false. I went to the Aadhaar center at IndusInd Bank, Chhoti Baradari, where the entire process was completed within just 15 minutes and without any appointment. I am surprised how someone with zero knowledge is allowed to sit at such an important position. She must be misguiding many people every day, wasting their time and causing unnecessary trouble. Such irresponsible behavior should not be tolerated at a public service office. Properly trained staff must be appointed to assist the public with accurate information.

Very bad staff..bad language....no respect of elders and female. They puts on jokes on ladys...not tolerable...if any misbehaving happened only these staff and authorities will be responsible

Shittiest service ever. I recommend not going there for your passport related issues as you might end up with another trip to chandigarh for final submission of your application. They don't guide you properly and just stamp down useless objections. My child's passport was delivered to me after 6 months and that too after i filed a complaint on CPgram portal. Just go directly to chandigarh

I hope you may find this beneficial. Subject: PCC Application The reporting time that has been assigned to me was 9:15AM for 9:30AM appointment. I arrived here around 9:05AM, and then around 9:20AM one of the staff members informed everyone that you also need to have verified e-aadhaar card with you - which wasn't mentioned on the website - under the "Document Advisor" tab. After getting the e-aadhaar card printed from the nearby shop, I went to the designated counter for documents verification, and then they told me that you also need to have "Appointment Confirmation Receipt" printed, which was also not mentioned on the website. In fact, it was mentioned that if you have a SMS confirmation of your appointment, you don't need to carry the printed "Application Confirmation Receipt". Overall, the whole experience was quite disappointing and dissatisfactory. I hope the government would do something to bring some positive changes for smoother and efficient application process, and for the betterment of PSK experience.

I went for normal renewal of Passport after ten years. The whole process was a breeze and took max 30 minutes. One needs to carry a colour copy of eaadhar in high quality print. REMEMBER TO CARRY ONE IN WHICH DIGITAL SIGNATURE IS VERIFIED AND THERE IS A GREEN TICK. If you don't have eaadhar fullfing requirements of quality and verified signature, the same can be obtained from a nearby cyber cafe provided one is carrying the aadhar linked mobile to receive the OTP. This is a justified requirement since eaadhar needs to be scanned and uploaded by the staff. If one's documents are in order the whole process requires just half an hour for waiting, documents upload and capture of bio metrics and for photo. Father must accompany minor child. That's a must as I saw one lady whose husband was not there being asked to call the father in case of passport issue to minor son. Overall a very pleasant experience. ACs could be installed for both staff and in waiting room. Probably they can charge a small fees for maintaining comfort. The heat in the room was bit uncomfortable. Hardly any rush. We finished the whole process even before the printed reporting time!! Kudos to the staff!
