New Passport Office ,Amritsar

Very non cooperative services given to the people of amritsar. I applied for renewal of my passport and its been more than a month from police verification and still my passport is not delivered. Psk says that it has been dispatched on 3rd of July and I still have not received. So i request to all the offical look into management work and try to Serve people in better way as people are applying for some genuine reasons only. When I visited the psk mall road they asked me to visit ranjit Avenue passport office as if I don't have any work other than this.

Staff was rude. Gatekeeper along with some other were quite straightforward in providing instructions. VAN system was not good. No seating arrangements( especially How OLD AGED could stand for hours ), no one there to instruct. Everyone stood there for hours for turn. Nobody was guiding properly. NEED TO IMPROVE: 1.Staff should be atleast polite , we as people are not going to ask for tea or coffee their. We are there for our passports. 2. Seating area should be granted atleast water could be offered in this scorching heat. 3.Instruction giving staff should guide properly as every one visiting building in majority are new to the place.

So Amritsar has 2 passport offices. One is in mall road i e psk( passport sewa Kendra) and this is RPO( regional passport office) you only need to come here when asked to. Otherwise mall road is for submission of application of passport and pcc

Worst experience. They are pending everyone's files without any reason. They are asking for unnecessary documents which are not necessary for passport. Even they never attach that documents to your file but still asking for unnecessary documents. They only wants bribe if you give them money your passport will be granted within few days otherwise they will put it on hold for months and for years. Government should have take any action against them why they are bothering innocent people. Why they are holding their files.

Disgusting behaviour . Employees don't even know how to behave . They are not doing favour this is their responsibility . They are asking for unnecessary documents . Employees are very rude . I should wanted to know how govt. Pay to such nonsence peoples .

Litteraly worst service..they will keep it pending as long as you don't make any complaint to Minister of External Affair. Staff officers are really disgusting they don't have any sense how to talk with customers and they don't listens our problems. I requested to Modi Ji please take care of Government services. Government services are very bad.

Very poor working people with appointment time 9:15 or any time in the will have to take token inside again no matter what's the appointment time 9 to 4 when so ever you come you will get token. Appointment time is of no value . Only a way to fool people. No work inside this regional passport office Amritsar. If you lack staff then why harassing people.

Poor Service I would say. Lady in the office was very very rude. She doesn't know how to treat others. Staff in the office is very ignorant about their services. They don't know the work procedures. If you have any question you need to make appointments all the time because they don't answer on the phone, it's a huge inconvenience for those who lived in other small towns around Amritsar. Even if you want to know the status they won't tell you on the phone. This is so weird, If you wanna talk to a concerned person they won't transfer the CALL. Please HIRE Qualified people in this department. People don't deserve this kind of behaviour from the Govt employed . PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL. From VERY UPSET CLIENT.
