Extremely incompetent and lazy staff members. My appointment was for 2:15pm and at 4pm they were processing applicants scheduled for 1:30pm. There are only two staff members and atleast 30 applicants per day. at Sharp 2 pm both of them left for lunch without even notifying the applicants their time of return and only one of them returned an hour later. There's absolutely no systematic order of processing of applications. No one answers your questions politely or even briefly. They talk to you as if they're doing you a favour. And a simple application for reissue of passport takes about 50-60 mins each , thanks to a 70 year old sitting in front of the system. Edit- after spending 5hrs at the Cuttack POPSK for a simple 10 min task and being told I'd get my passport within 20 days, my passport has been on hold for more than a month now. Reason - the above mentioned grandpa didn't bother to collect all the necessary documents at once and upon enquiring at the RPO, I was asked to send those documents through speed post and wait another 20 days.

There is no more passport seva Kendra at this place. It has been shifted to GPO cuttack(Buxi bazar).

friend just spilled the tea that this place isn't actually the passport office. Can you believe it? Someone totally messed up and wrongly tagged it on maps.
