VFS Global Visa Application Centre -Pune

From Pune City, the VFS Global office is situated approximately 12 kilometres away. It is located on the fourth floor of the 93 Avenue mall. Ample parking for cars and two-wheelers is available at a minimal cost. The building is wheelchair-accessible. VFS Global caters to the visa requirements for Schengen, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, and other countries. To obtain a visa, an advance appointment is necessary, and there are systematic procedures for submitting the required documents. Premium services, such as a premium lounge and dedicated officials for verifying visa documents, are also available at a cost. Do's: 1. Carry all the documents as per the checklist. 2. The photo should be of VISA standard, i.e., 80% face visibility. 3. Take photocopies or Xeroxes of the documents, as printing inside the visa centre will cost you 10 INR per page. 4. Reach 15 minutes prior to your appointment schedule. 5. Carry your original passport and old passports. 6. Payment of visa fees is accepted via card, cash, and UPI. Don'ts: 1. Except for mobile phones, no other electronic items are allowed inside the visa centre. 2. A small bag with a water bottle is allowed. 3. Do not carry helmets or trolley bags.

I recently applied for my Japan visa at VFS Global Visa Application Centre, and my experience was truly excellent. Right from the security staff at the entrance to the officers handling the applications, everyone was extremely helpful and professional. I had to go back almost 5 times due to missing or incorrect documents, and despite that, the staff remained incredibly calm and patient throughout. They never showed frustration and guided me properly each time. They even went beyond the time limit to ensure my application was accepted the same day. Their supportive attitude really made a stressful situation much easier for me. One suggestion for future applicants: third-party Xerox and print services at the centre can be quite expensive, so it's better to carry all your documents printed and prepared in advance. Overall, I genuinely loved their service and truly appreciate the dedication and patience of the entire team.

We went there for our Swiss visa and everything went smoothly.. from security check- ins to document checking and then biometrics.. it took us approx.3 hrs. Do not carry electronic items like pen drive or laptop otherwise u need to take locker. Be on time. My daughter was wearing black hairband in her visa photo so they rejected it and we clicked her pic inside. They charged 200 rs for 5 photos which is totally worth. So if u r not carrying photo then still no issue. No one tried to sell premium lounge service as other reviewers have mentioned , they just ask 1 time at the entry. Staff are very helpful specially their support staff. You can ask your doubts, they will guide you. We got our visa in 4 working days.

Had a good experience here. Staff was courteous. As a family of 6 with kids and old parents we chose for premium service, it was worth it. They took care of all applications on a single window. Parents could sit comfortably, kids have things to eat, refreshments etc. We had to replace photos for one person which was also covered. Especially, the staff member Kartik Wagh was very helpful. Also, the lady in the premium Europe section who acts as assistant is very helpful. There is plenty of parking in the basement of this mall. At the start the staff at the main entrance of VFS arranges all the line diligently. Overall happy with the experience.

Worst ever experience. VFS Pune staff is sitting just to extort money from you. Highly unprofessional services. 1. Firstly when i showed the appointment to the lady sitting at the entrance who verifies the appointment did not ask me whether i want to opt for VFS premium services or not and simply assumed that I will go for VFS premium service. Later on when i entered after security check and confronted the staff that i never opted for premium service. There was one gentleman who was walking and he asked me. Did the lady sitting at the entrance not explained you the process. I said she did not even have the courtesy to ask whether i need VFS premium service or not. Then i walked into the normal queue. Took a token for Malta appointment and I submitted all my documents for visa at counter number 7. The gentleman sitting at the counter number 7 gave me a token for biometrics which says slovenia and he asked me to mention that by mistake we have generated the token for slovenia but the application is for Malta to the person who will take biometrics. I was not in a mood to argue so i agreed and mentioned the same to the lady who was suppose to take biometrics. 3. I have paid the visa fees online 250 euros. But the gentleman who was verifying my documents wanted to make money. He himself assumed that i need VFS extended services(approx. Rs.12000) + courier service(approx. Rs.700) + SMS service(Approx. Rs.600) and asked me to pay Rs.14470/- including GST whereas i needed only courier and SMS services which would have costed me around Rs.1500 approx. I was thinking about biometrics and did not get a chance to check what packages the gentleman has added trusting him. He did not even bother to ask me whether i want to opt for VFS extended services or not. He simply added and did not bother to handover invoice to me. The worst part is none of the VFS staff members have their name plate on their chest. Because they are sitting just to extort money from you. I have been to VFS Mumbai earlier and i just liked their work ethics, transparency. They will ask for each and everything what packages you want to opt for and will give invoice for the payment which you have made. I will never recommend anyone to visit VFS Pune center in future. I would request the VFS global team to make it mandatory for all the VFS staff members to wear their name plate on the chest. I am attaching the tokens which i generated when i entered the VFS center and the token which was handed over to me by the VFS staff member for biometrics sitting at the counter no. 7 on 15th Oct 2025 between 10.45am to 11.45am. You can clearly see he has given me a token for the slovenia whereas the token which i generated is for Malta. Infact i have got an in principle approval letter from Malta government. I have got USA B1/B2 visa and schengen visa from VFS Mumbai. VFS pune staff are sitting just to extract your hard earned money.

When I reached the VFS center after the security check, I went to the desk, where a staff member was checking the documents. I had forgotten one copy, so I went to get it printed. They charged me 50 per page, which was surprising. When I returned to the desk, the staff member was not there. I waited for about 15 minutes, and no one seemed to care that someone had been waiting. After that, everything went smoothly except for one issue. They did not ask whether I wanted the optional services (courier and insurance). These were added to my bill without my consent. Since I live nearby, I did not want these services at all. I was focused on my documents, so I didn't notice it immediately--but they should have clearly asked before adding any optional services. It really felt like they were more focused on making money. One of my friends, who was traveling separately, also had a bad experience. His application had a mistake (his name was missing, which was his own error). For simply helping him fill out the application, they charged 1,300. When he told them he would fill it out himself and return, the staff member told him that the appointment could not be rescheduled. This turned out to be untrue and seemed like an attempt to scare him into paying. Overall, this was an unpleasant and disappointing experience for both me and my friend. pls check all document are ok before going vfs very small mistake can cost your pocket high My advice: Before going to VFS, please double-check all your documents carefully--whether the name is correct, whether all details match, and whether any small information is missing. Even a minor mistake can cost you a lot, as they charge very high fees for corrections. Also, before making any payment, make sure to check the bill amount thoroughly and confirm what each charge is for. Do not assume everything is necessary--ask if something is optional. Overall, this was an unpleasant and disappointing experience for both me and my friend.

Misleading upselling and lack of transparency at VFS Global - Pune (Canada biometrics) I am writing this to highlight a deeply disappointing experience at the VFS Global Visa Application Centre in Pune during my wife's Canada visa biometrics appointment on 13 Jan 2026 At the counter, we were told that passport collection through an authorised representative is not allowed for Canada visas, and that my wife would either need to collect it personally or opt for the so-called Premium Service, priced at 5,113. This information was conveyed in a rushed and pressured manner, giving the clear impression that this was the only option available. What was conveniently omitted is that courier service alone can be availed at a lower cost, without opting for the premium lounge package. This option was never explained upfront and the premium service was presented as compulsory. While waiting, it was evident that this same premium service was being aggressively promoted to several applicants, including senior citizens, many of whom did not require any additional assistance. The focus appeared to be on selling the service rather than facilitating a transparent visa process. Inside the premium lounge, there was no additional support provided. All forms had already been completed and no assistance was required. The entire interaction was hurried, making it clear that the primary purpose of the service was collecting payment, not offering value. This experience felt like a systematic and deliberate attempt to mislead applicants by withholding information and pushing unnecessary bundled services, particularly targeting those unfamiliar with the process. I am sharing this so others can be cautious. Applicants should explicitly ask about courier-only options and not feel pressured into purchasing premium services they do not need. Such practices are unethical and completely unacceptable for an organisation entrusted with visa-related processes.

It was great experience at the center. I purchased the premium lounge access for INR 3500. I must say worth to pay that fee. All my process went smoothly. Even I forgot to bring some mandatory documents, but I was guided carefully and could able to complete my process in time. Recommending to opt-in for the VFS's premium lounge access
