Absolutely poor experience and TCS is not to blame. First, I drove down. There is pay n park on either side of the road where PSK is located. Parking fee on the opposite side to PSK is a flat fee of Rs 50 as on 17 Sep 2025. The token they give you has no date or time stamp. The parking is muddy, uneven and murky in the rains. But this is not why I've given 2 stars to this place. My entry was smooth. For a 2:15 appointment, the guard outside readied us in a queue by 2:10 and checked the appoinment email ( both phone and hard copy will do) before allowing us in. As soon as you enter, you will find 4-5 counters. 1 is for birth certificate ( I don't know what happens there), 1 is for tatkal and 2 for regular applications. The person at the counter asks for your attested copies and arranges them in a stack based on your case ( new, duplicate, renewal), writes down a unique token number on the front page of your copy and asks you to move towards the waiting room and eventually towards the 'A' counter assigned to your token. When I reached the waiting room, it was jam packed. Each seat was being shared by 2 people! But my token was allotted a counter within 15 minutes. Allotment can be seen on a digital display. Once I arrived at my counter, biometrics n other details were captured n I was asked to verify all the details I entered into the online form. Then I was asked to move to counter B. Up until this stage, everything is managed by TCS and it went well. I was sent back to the waiting room because about 300 applicants were ahead of me in queue for counter B! Counters B and C are managed by government employees. There was absolute chaos and mayhem from then on and the place looked like Kurla station ( #IYKYK) with people standing and sitting at every nook and corner of the 'A' counter waiting room. It took me roughly 3 hours to get through counters B and C , despite the fact that my paperwork was in order! The actual total time spent at both these counters was less than 10 minutes but the government IT system went down multiple times and the queue wasn't moving. This is in complete contrast to my smooth passport renewal process in a different state almost a decade ago. So not sure, if it was just the Pune PSK or the system itself has deteriorated in the past few years. PS : There are washrooms, drinking water facilities and a tiny cafeteria ( light snacks and tea / coffee) in the common waiting room.

Ok so , staff very helpful and it's slightly comfortable,if they need some documents they asked for print , and allow you to revisit at same time instead of reschedule your appointment
