Passport Seva Kendra, Nashik

I booked a Tatkal appointment for my grandmother's passport renewal at the Passport Office Nashik. First, they denied my entry at the gate because my surname does not match hers. She is my mother's mother, so obviously our surnames will not be the same. This was unnecessary and unreasonable. After somehow getting inside, the document verification officer said that the applicant's father's name does not match. We already had a passport and were there only for renewal. If there was any issue, it should have been clarified properly instead of creating confusion. He then asked for a bank passbook. I provided it, but he insisted that it must have a latest transaction entry. I fail to understand what the latest passbook entry has to do with passport renewal. Finally, he objected that DigiLocker was not installed on the phone. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a government office. Authorities should ensure that staff behave professionally and do not harass applicants unnecessarily.

Only the person with the appointment can enter. Rest have to wait outside without any facilities.

This is better PSK than others for Mumbai RPO. But recently they are behaving unprofessional. 1) DigiLocker is not Mandatory by Government. Checked again / even confirmed by passport helpline. Why these uninformed staff is pushing for Digilocker unnecessarily. 2) There is "Annexure J " on passport site in lieu of Marriage Certificate. Then why are they pushing for Marriage certificate and etc for people who already filled "Annexure J" along with joint photograph and sign. The Staff needs training and ask them to stop making things complicated.They should read passport document requirements on their own site daily before starting the job in morning. Ruining good reputation of this PSK . Else it's good and it has well organised and clean facility.

One of my friends had a deeply unpleasant experience here due to the staff's conduct. Customers are treated with little respect, and as a result, his passport procedures have been delayed. Each day he visits the office with renewed hope, only to face further complications created by the staff. Therefore, this is a humble request to those in authority to kindly look into this serious issue and take the necessary action.

Tbh took me only 30 min for all procedure What do you need to know before going there If you are applying for fresh passport 1.Keep all documents with you orginal and + one set of xerox 2. digilocker is must for adhar verification That's it my friends and then process is smooth If you don't keep documents with you then at that moment its all your mistake , Read on pasport application form that which document you need to bring. And process is smooth , also staff is friendly and bring pen too .

According to my experience staff nature is not much important if our documents are well organised.. It's all about us & our behavior.. Best passport office just collect your all documents then visit here.

Our appointment time was 11:45 AM, but we reached the passport office at 9:15 AM. Initially, the security personnel politely informed us that we could not enter before our scheduled time. We were a bit disappointed and even considered leaving, as our appointment was for my 1-year-old daughter. However, seeing our situation, one security guard showed genuine sympathy and kindly allowed us inside earlier. From that point, the entire process went very smoothly -- it took only about 30 minutes for both my wife's and daughter's passport applications to be completed, and we were done before 10:30 AM. I'm truly thankful to that security guard for his understanding and cooperation. His small gesture made a big difference in our experience.

Pathetic!!!! No different que for Passport Renewal Candidates. Total number of counters are around 4-5 and they only keep 2 open. Even after filling up the form online and submitting it over the official website, they ask for everything in-person ( hard copies ). I was allotted 10:30am slot and it freaking took 4 hours for the whole process. This is utter BULLSHIT! HORRIBLE SERVICE!
