We had a very positive experience in WIINS hospital, my mother was admitted due to right basal ganglia hematima with iv extension, and we were anxious at that time. However, the treatment she recieved here was exceptional and most importantly. It was managed without the need of surgery. We would like to express our science gratitude to Dr. Santosh prabhu for thier expert care, guidence& compassion throughout the treatment process. One of the key highlights was oxygen theropy(HBOT ).which played crucial role in his recovery. The innovative treatment was explained clearly by the doctors and we noticed a visible improvement in her condition after just few session The nursing staff was attentive & compassional. We especially appreciated the regular doctors round & the fact that we recieved timely health update three times in day. This level of transparency and communication gave us great confidence in the care being provide. I come in WIINS hospital with complaints of pain in rt leg , pains sharp, shooting type worsening on lying down I can't sleep in any position, Dr santosh prabhu sir after examine me adviced MRI MRI report shows posterior disc bulge with rt contralateral disc extrusion and inferior migration at L5S1 level causing significant right lateral recess stenosis, compression of rt S1, indentation of left traversing S1 nerve roots . Sir possesses immense knowledge not only in neurosurgery but also in multiple languages, including Marathi, and much more. Personally, I gained valuable insights simply by attending his rounds. He is very straightforward and ensures that patient relatives clearly understand the patient's condition and management plan. Although I feel unfortunate that I could not learn as much clinical knowledge as I wished, I have learned something even more important--practical wisdom and how an ideal doctor should be in real life--which will stay with me forever. I would also like to acknowledge Dr. Akash, who is a kind and supportive person and consistently guides medical officers and residents by teaching them clinical knowledge with patience and clarity. Dr. Deyonna is one of the kindest individuals I have ever met. She is very friendly, extremely supportive, and has taught me a lot. She was the first person who allowed me to enter the operation theatre, for which I will always remain grateful to her. I would especially like to appreciate Dr. Deyonna for her compassion and ethical approach to patient care. Though many staff members perceive her as strict, in reality she is very kind, humble, and dedicated. Consultant doctors Dr. Bhushan and Dr. Pravin share a friendly rapport, much like college friends, which creates a positive and comfortable learning environment. They are extremely kind, approachable, and consistently teach during their rounds. Both doctors are very honest and sincere in their work, and their dedication to patient care and teaching is truly commendable. The resident doctors have also been exceptional and have contributed greatly to my learning. Dr. Arshiet, Dr. Shelja, Dr. Rahul, and Dr. Pulastya have each taught me a great deal. Every one of them has unique strengths and qualities from which everyone can learn, both professionally and personally. Their dedication to patient care, teamwork, and teaching is truly appreciable. Dr. Sunita and Dr. Bhagyashri shoulder a tremendous amount of responsibility, and the overall management of the hospital is efficiently handled by these two dedicated doctors. Despite their extensive workload, they ensure smooth functioning across all departments. I am especially grateful to Dr. Bhagyashri, who has supported and guided me like a family member. Her kindness, approachability, and willingness to help at all times truly made a significant difference to my experience. I would also like to highlight the hospital infrastructure, which is among the best in Kolhapur. Although there is a common perception that WIINS Hospital is expensive, in reality, the hospital provides excellent facilities and high-quality patient care, ensuring true value for every single rupee spent. The standard of infrastructure, technology, and services fully justifies the cost and reflects the hospital's commitment to quality healthcare. I got admitted into WIINS for my maternity under Dr. Pishavikar. I highly recommend Dr. Pishavikar as she does not give up easily and I had normal delivery finally.
