Post Office Passport Seva Kendra POPSK

Worst place.. not enough employees to handle the passport service. No water, no washroom. Pathetic center. Better got to bhopal and get passport service done.

Most of the reviews are old so writing a latest one as I visited this office for my passport renewal in May 2023. Things to note which will be helpful: 1. This office is very close to Jabalpur Railway Station Platform 1 side. You can walk towards it. 2. Free vehicle parking available towards the backside. 3. Office timings is from 09:00am but they open around 09:30 and the work starts around 10:00. 4. Staff is fine but when it gets crowded it gets chaotic. Morning appointments are better. 5. Your appointment SMS is sufficient but it's better to carry a printout for safe side. 6. The document that you selected during your application are only needed here. Make a colour print if possible, if not Black and while is acceptable too and also take the originals. There are no photocopy shops nearby. Adhar card e-signature verified copy NO LONGER NEEDED. Simply take originals. 7. When you get inside they don't follow sequence system as mentioned in your SMS like bigger passport offices instead you should quickly go in the line and take your sequence number manually by getting the documents verified. If you sit ideal nobody will call you. 8. First a person will check your docs and appointment and after giving you sequence number your name will be called out and then further process happens. 9. No drinking water and washroom available. 10. It will atleast take one hour and for afternoon appointment it will be way more. Hope this helps

Worst place, worst management. Zero sense of responsibility at the Jabalpur Passport Seva Kendra. I still can't believe the government expects people to get their work done in an old, poorly maintained post office building. Absolutely no planning, no comfort, nothing. Extremely disappointing experience.

This place is close to jabalpur railway station. Exit the station from platform number 1 and then u can easily walk to this place. It is inside the main post office. It has vehicle parking area. Today (8/3/2018) i had an appointment for a fresh new passport and my appointment timing was 10.15am. I reached the POPSK at 9.45am there were 2-3 staffs available and they started my procedure earlier. The staff was really polite and helpful. They were describing everything to those who haven't bought the required documents or passport size photograph. And my whole process was completed in hardly 20-25mins because there was no rush at all. And till 10.20am my whole process was over. So even if you have an appointment at 10am in the morning you can reach the POPSK a little and get your process done quickly.

Horrible office and extremely poor management. No proper assistance with any queries. Their contact number is always switched off. The staff is very rude; it is impossible to get your work done here.

Its A GIFT TO JABALPUR , A CONVIENT OPTION ,TIME SAVING FOR THE CITIZEN OF JABALPUR TO GET THIER PASSPORT A TICKET TO EXPLORE THE WORLD. ERALIER PEOPLE HAD TO TRAVEL TO THE CAPITAL CITY BHOPAL A NUMBER OF TIMES TILL THE PRCEDURE WAS COMPLETE BUT NOW ITS HOP STEP OPTION. THE NEWLY BUILD OFFICE IS WELL FURNISHED WITH GOOD AMBIENCE AND COMFORTABLE SEATING ARRANGEMENT BUT FEW SIGN CARD AS OFFICE TIMING HOURS WAS MISSING WHICH NEEDS LITTLET ATTENTION BY THE ADMIN.

Worst system compared to other passport offices in mp. Even help desk person doesn't know how to work and behave... no one in security for looking at sytem especially in document check line.. Openning time. No time bound system.. Very lazy and busy people.. No wash room for people waiting for 4hrs I do not recommend to take appointment for jabalpur office.. rather go for bhopal office

Not as many facilities as Bhopal centre, but it's okay for less people. No lines, No token screen. Just get verification of documents from one counter and they will call the name within 5-10 mins. Quick and easy.
