Passport Seva Kendra is opened inside post office. Now you can apply and get passport without going out of balaghat. Employee working here has great hands on his work and very helping too.

It is recently opened near bus stand only where post office is located. You enter through the gate and there is board of passport office too. You cannot take appointment by phone and need to bring print of the application. Don't worry in case you forgot, just remember your ID - password, they'll help you.

The person (I don't know the exact name) who verify your documents is very rude. he takes money for everything. He doesn't have humanity. 1 day I got appointment for passport application verification at 10 am due to some problem I reached half hour late. So he didn't allow me to go I requested him like anything but he was not even listening instead of allowing me for verification he was asking me my background details like where u working what your father does, with whom you came and all that..and he was asking me for money. 2nd day again I went and for single mistake in address he asked me 1500. He takes advantage of your compulsion and innocence. Very disappointed
