Passport Seva Kendra Thrissur

I had a mixed experience at this passport office. The staff in Sections A and B were polite and helpful, and my documents were cleared smoothly. Unfortunately, my experience at Section C was very disappointing. I applied under the Tatkal scheme due to an emergency. My passport was issued in 2016, and I provided my voter ID as well. The woman at Section C stated that my application could not be processed under Tatkal because my appearance had changed. A change in appearance over several years is natural, and in my case the only difference was slightly longer hair. The interaction felt disrespectful and unprofessional, and I was made to feel as though my identity was being doubted. At the final stage, I was informed that the application could only be processed under the normal scheme, after I had already paid 4,000 for Tatkal. I was also told the amount could not be refunded. This should have been communicated earlier so applicants can make an informed decision. I understand and respect procedural requirements, including police verification. My concern is the lack of professionalism she had and clear communication. Senior staff should handle applicants with courtesy and respect.

Nothing bad to say, if papers are in order, no issues there. Officers are very helpful, explained things very softly. Got everything done for me and my kids within 3 hours. Toilet, drinking water, everything is there. Xerox, photo copy, all facilities inside Not posting a photo since photography isn't allowed there

Process is smooth and swift. Ample parking space is available for both two wheeler and four wheelers. Never take photocopy from outside shops as they overcharge and push you to take more copies. The service is available inside the Seva Kendra for 2 rupees per copy.

The infrastructure is not good at all the old people should likely have to stand long time. No enough seats, not even a fan the area is already densely populated while the temperature is rising it's too uncomfortable to stay in the area while standing in a queue

Very fast service. Ample parking is there. Even big cars can be parked. I was concerned about bringing my sedan, but it was easy to park. Also there is paid parking available if free parking is full. I'm posting some parking space pics for guidance Very professional staff. Overall you need to spend about 1 hour there for your passport application. Don't waste money by photocopying in those shops around. Inside photo copy machine is available for 2 per copy.

Much appreciated services. I went for my passport renewal & the reporting time mentioned was 9:30 AM but as soon as I reached there, I could enter inside the counter. No need for taking any photocopies from outside. There is a photostat counter where you can get it for 2 rupees per page. Whole process was so fast and it took hardly 7-10 mins. Well trained staff with excellent behavior. Really appreciable.

Great passport office with a very kind passport officer. Most of the staff were friendly, especially the South Indian staff. However, a few North Indian staff members behaved rudely. Even though would gladly give 5 stars." because of great passport Officer

I went there to take my daughters passport and before entering the passport office the first security will send us to a DPT center and first they will check our forms and if any photostat or forms are needed they will take double amount for copies from us . And the forms even if we know to fill they will fill up and take extra charge from us. For filling one form and taking 2 photostat they took 200/- from me. It is just like pick pocketing. From every one they are taking money like this every day. There is photostat in the office but that security is sending everybody to there when we are entering. Be careful. very bad service from the staff . it is good to go to Aluva passport office.
