Passport Seva Kendra Kannur

This office have all required staff and technical equipments. But zero value for time. I was asked to reach by 1:45 Reached by 1:30 and provided all the details. Still I waited till 2:20 to get my token. Now again a wait for 30min to meet the verification officer. Why can't they just give token timing based on actual time they can do the processing.

The staff from the starting counter up to the B counter were very polite and helpful. However, the behavior of some staff members at the APO and C counters was extremely poor. Applicants experienced a lack of clear instructions, and questions were not properly explained. There was also disrespectful and insulting behavior toward applicants. This is a government service center, and people who come here reasonably expect respect and clarity. In my personal opinion, individuals who display such behavior are not fit for this job. Overall, the experience was very disappointing.

Had a overall good experience in the passport seva kendra today eventhough it took almost 2 hours to complete the process ( for my 2 kids,husband and for me). 1)Entrance checking ---2)Token(application and document verification,form)----- 3)A(photo biometric data entry)---4)B( checking form with original)----5)C(Final Asst Passport Officer ) Parking place not there...so it really took time to find a parking space....We had appointment time at 12:30 but we reached by 12.Entrance both lady and gents security guard was there and both were very helpful and explained the procedure well. Then came Token section 1,2 to get token ....there it took time ( need more sitting chair there) .If you are having kids need to fill one additional form . Since I had a newborn baby, lady guard directed me to childcare room in groundfloor itself which is a nice room with 2 chair,diaper changing table and fan . Then after getting token , our names will be called from token section Left side and we will get our application form back and ll be directed toA B and C ( upstairs) . CAREFULLY Read THE NUMBER WRITTEN IN THE APPLICATION FORM . After reaching upstairs , in Display tv( one lady is also there to call us) our number will be displayed and we need to go there .Section A somany staff are there and it is moving fast and staff who attended us was very good .From there, our photograph and biometric details will be taken . Then we will be directed to section B( officers from kozhikode passport office) ,there we need to give our original id cards . Everything will be clearly checked and will be diverting to last C section .APO was there in C section , we need to handover our documents and original ids which was checked in section B to her and then final submission done and were told we ll get our passport by postal . We got our application form back (paperwork less) .All staff who attended us was polite and helpful.Since we had to get it done for 4 of us , from B and C same time our name was calling and we got confused still went very well... 1. Upstairs we are having clean washroom 2.Downstairs- feeding room 3. IT WILL TAKE TIME ,SO DO BRING WATERBOTTLE AND SMALL SNACKS OR CHOCOLATE. 4.DO bring one pen. 5.If child is below 4,one photograph needed Overall had a good experience in PSK Kannur .

1,No parking facility inside the building or nearby 2 ,only 8 seats for bystanders and can hardly accomadate 25 people altogether ( Most people have to stand outside the building in scorching sun) Its high time to shift the seva kendra to a better facility

Had a lot of anxiety going in for passport renewal because I'm an anxious person generally but everything went smoothly and I was out within at the max 20-25 minutes of entering. Might've had something to do with the fact that my appointment time was in the afternoon on a Friday, but nevertheless a very seamless experience.

The staff and the overall facilities were good. I have a few suggestions for improvement. 1. Arrange seats for the people who are waiting at the ground floor (inside). 2. They insisted me to pay 50rs SMS charge even though I opted out of it while filling up the online application. Luckily they don't force to pay the 500rs extra they used to collect for the useless cover. 3. It took more than 2 hrs to complete the passport renewal procedure. Appointing a few more staff could fix this problem.

This place work systematic. Specially the reception. The glass wering girl is attending everything same time. Good job. Cash only payment accepted here. ATM's are near by. Hard documents copy facility is handy but no digital copy. Next door have shops does the job. 4 person iron chair reserved to who need so be prepare for long stand. Carry water. The toilet is upstairs and no Phone in common area but there is a place for that. Dont hesitate to ask anything if you dont understand but first floor you have to be careful. Or ask to the security bro he is very active If you are demanding an emergency passport please make sure you have three id documents with same name amd sir name. Or it will diverted to normal passport Give a like if you like the info

I had a very bad experience with the staff at the first counter. The behaviour was unprofessional and lacked basic manners.
